    To be fair, the majority of the Paris thread is arguing rather than anyone espousing any sort of empathy. Though I suppose it's still more empathy than this thread got.

    Perhaps because the rest of us paid attention right when this was in the news months ago, rather than waiting for an internet thread on a typology forum to convey concern and empathy?

    People show empathy in different ways...

    Some cry, some put on French flags on Facebook, some pray, some demand more love, some ask 'what's wrong with people', while some look for actual solutions.
