When I was a kid I had a big feathered headress which I liked to wear, my brother and me always played cowboys and indians without the cowboys, the Indians always seemed more like the heroes than the cowboys.
All for ourselves, and nothing for other people, seems, in every age of the world, to have been the vile maxim of the masters of mankind.

whether or not you credit psychoanalysis itself, the fact remains that we all must, to the greatest extent possible, understand one another's minds as our own; the very survival of humanity has always depended on it. - Open Culture

Then you'll be happy to note that non-compassionate conservatives and mouth-breathers in the states share your view, because fealty to a sports team always trumps reason or compassion. I'm a bit surprised about this, but at least you chose a team.

I actually prefer the Seattle Seahawks, Washington Huskies and New York Jets because I have friends who support those teams.

Why would I be "happy to note" what does "non-compassionate conservatives" have to do with anything? Since when do you believe that reason or compassion have anything to do with sports? You also dont know much about conservatism if you dont believe those things can be associated with it, I mean real conservativism and not party politics, so called "fiscal conservatism" or any of that crap.
