This is hilarious, Victor's been first an anti-clerical megaphone, then a liberal democrat, now he's a conservative feminist? I wonder whatever next.

Is this an Australian thing? Or is it phases of the moon or what is it?
All for ourselves, and nothing for other people, seems, in every age of the world, to have been the vile maxim of the masters of mankind.

I'm intrigued by Victor Beefeater and have been following his bad tempered regurgitation of political dogmas for a while, so yeah, it was.

I didnt expect it to be a proper discussion of the ethics or legalities of commodifying of sex.

Incidentially I'm listening to my iPod and it just started playing Poison by Alice Cooper. Consequently everyone gets to rack up cool points for simply being here, now.

That is intriguing. It's just the fact that it seems funny to comment on that when there was a total shit storm in this thread. Maybe, you're just smarter than me and make better use of the ignore feature.

Oh yeah man, you'd be amazed how well used I am with using that feature by now, especially where a select number of posters are concerned. Did not see the shit storm but must say that it comes as no surprise at all :rulz: :bannana:

I think it is important to repeat that prostitution, called sex work, is legal here and will remain legal, however we are thinking about making the buying of sex an offence.

I emphasise that sex work remains legal. We are not going after the sex workers, we are thinking of going after those who buy sex.

Which is exactly what has happened in my country, which is ridiculous.
