    The White Mouse

    The White Mouse was the most highly decorated woman of WW II.

    The White Mouse was an Australian called Nancy Wake, and so incredible were her deeds, and so formidable the oppositon she overcome, her biographies read like the most daring of fiction.

    The While Mouse was the most wanted Resistance Fighter in France. And the Gestapo put a reward of five million francs on her head.

    They didn't catch her and the White Mouse died the other day at 99 years of age.

    I read a book about her and was sorry to hear she died. She was a fascinating woman!

    ...and she was actually born in New Zealand

    I've dreamt in my life dreams that have stayed with me ever after, and changed my ideas;
    they've gone through and through me, like wine through water, and altered the colour of my mind.
