    The sort of mental life required to make that kind of torture possible means this individual deserves to die, simple as that, we dont try to rehabilitate mad dogs, why do we pretend its possible with people?

    The reality is that the attempt to rehabilitate offenders is premised upon meeting the needs of a large section of society which believe in infinite capacity for change, growth and development of redeeming qualities which are not in evidence, their experiences are not transferable to the criminal other in the ways they believe.
