Would you favour temperature testing in the workplace post-lock down as a safe guarding measure?

Would you come into your workplace early to allow a temperature test? Do you own any temperature testing equipment currently at home?

So long as this does not become the norm outside of a pandemic or outbreak. Like with any mass disseminated protocol, there are essential ethics that must be cared for. What would be regarded as a threshold "no go" fever? What if someone has a fever caused by something that is non-contagious? Does this need to be reported to government and/or private industries? Is that information secure and can it be trusted to be handled properly?

It sounds good on paper, and I do support it so long as it is done ethically and is only required when there is a medical reason. It does stand to protect many many people, and particularly give rights to workers who might otherwise be fired simply for being sick. Generally I have confidence that this can be done properly, but I am skeptical of it until I see how it is being done, and whom is it being conducted by.

I have already been recieving them for the last 2 weeks. It isnt annoying or invasive. So if management wants it, go ahead.

I don't have an issue with it as long as my union backs it and the majority agrees, it's not simply a management call.

We were sick in late January/early February and I bought a forehead thermometer then.
