But there is something that sticks out to me in all of this.
The right constantly claims that left run cities are a mess and "shit-holes". But through that they are indirectly making a case that America lost it's leading position in the world. I mean the US evidently didn't become global superpower due to the Wyoming, Kansas, Alabama and West Virginia. Therefore this argument is indeed opening a can of worms. Therefore: Is US no more a global super power or this entire narrative doesn't stick to the degree some people think ?
They can't think that. As in it is impossible to their square up with their narrative, their brains would melt. Did you see Trump's second term "agenda"? It's loaded with bullshit like teaching American exceptionalism or making allies pay their fair share. Of what? Anyway what I mean is, we are partially here BECAUSE of teaching American exceptionalism as an inalienable right. Like you don't have to do anything exceptional, just be American. It's stupid.
The rest of the world will move on and to a degree they have, minus the US. The right is ok with that because they've been told about the globalization boogieman for decades.
I also notice that the left run shithole cites pearl clutching is absolutely never followed by the shithole states.
The state with the highest crime rate is - Alaska.
Alaska has the highest crime rate in the United States of 885 crimes per 100,000 people. The state's rate of sexual assault is 161.9 incidents per 1000,000 people, nearly four times the national rate. The most common violent crime reported in Alaska is aggravated assault, followed by rape.
Wanna do homicide rate?
Louisiana (12.4 per 100,000 people)
Missouri (9.8 per 100,000 people)
Nevada (9.1 per 100,000 people)
Maryland (9 per 100,000 people)
Arkansas (8.6 per 100,000 people)
Alaska (8.4 per 100,000 people)
Alabama (8.3 per 100,000 people)
Mississippi (8.2 per 100,000 people)
Illinois (7.8 per 100,000 people)
South Carolina (7.8 per 100,000 people)
2 out of the 10 are Dems. The rest are Republican with GOP legislatures. So much for that law and order argument. Nearly all of this problem is economic/poverty driven but that's obvious to anyone paying attention.
