The worst day on the record, and it isn't even over.

    Brazil: + 68 600
    India: + 52 200

Global daily record has a chance of falling since many countries have a bad day.

    Bulgaria anti-government protesters block crossroads

The mass protests that go on for weeks are a serious thing.

Kremlin denies 'insinuations' on Russian mercenaries detained in Belarus

There are probably big things going on here and beneath the surface. I didn't really think that the fault line can be opened here but I guess it can be. However if the relations between the two countries implode that is major development. Lately there seem to be an increased turmoil in many not so democratic countries in Europe but it isn't 100% clear what is actually going on here.

    Here is another fresh one.

Albania’s Socialist-Led Parliament Changes Constitution, Ignoring Protests

Romania Ready to “Welcome” US Troops Removed From Germany

Plus this is strategically pretty unsurprising. It is logical to have more troops on the actual borders of the alliance.

Germany suspends extradition agreement with Hong Kong

Plus I see that US will have deep talks with good parts of my wider region over China's G5.
While some other events also indicate that there is the plan or at least very solid desire to phase out China's influence around the region. If after decades of divisions between neighbors in local talking points there is sudden understanding that kinda indicates that something is going on in the background. It is too early to celebrate but this could indeed start fully new page in local ethnic dynamic. What basically solidifies the whole region and therefore turns China into a "foreign element", that politically is no longer really needed. Here we are basically waiting for decades that someone at higher level starts to pull right talking points, since the job in the terms of democracy and stability isn't over in this part of the world.

Iran looks to partner with China, as the West steps back

But I must notice how first world press always tries to look for the flaws and pitfalls in these kinds of deals. Rarely they will openly say that their side is loosing in big picture. On the other hand these are just 2 very authoritarian countries and therefore what local people think doesn't matter all that much as long there are basic resources. What is exactly what these kinds of deals are likely to produce. Plus together they will have easier time projecting influence and power. If anything on the Afghanistan that is directly between the two. Not to mention that India isn't 100% sure should they take western or eastern side and Iran has a fair amount of influence there, plus it is traditional oil supplier. In other words if China manages to fully round up Asia the world order as we know it is done, regardless of COVID.

What is your take on this ? Is this trend real ?
Especially the part that the Greens are the biggest anti-China hawks in the country?
