Nevada Caucus Results | 2020 Presidential Primary Elections

Hmm.

Remember that one time someone from outside a major party's establishment joined in the primaries, was treated like a joke, gained support from a pissed off working class, was ostracized by many in the same party with talks of kicking him out all throughout as he gained momentum, ended up winning the nomination, ended up winning the election, and then slowly took over the party and turned it into a bunch of cowardly bootlickers? It happened in 2016, and it could happen again. Hopefully minus that last part or two, though; YMMV.

Woah, he did really well among Latinos.

Also, very strong showing among independents, even though he wasn't supposed to appeal to them according to the conventional theories.

This is why I said that "working class" is 80% of the working population and that classic politics can broken here. Since Bernie is offering all of them something new next to classic American left-right divide and that will probably shake some foundations. For me this is simply a win for "European way" of doing things. What Bernie is generally pushing is ideology of your allies, not your enemies. Even if this is something that is getting overlooked or even carefully disturbed.

From what I see the internet is full of random Europeans and your other allies that are advocating "Bernie stuff". Since they all want to pull USA away from what they see as "3rd world elements".

I'm off to canvass this afternoon, just in case he's still not appealing to them.

Bernie unleashes volunteer army on Nevada - POLITICO

I can confirm, it's a very do-it-yourself atmosphere. It's also what makes me laugh at the people screaming about socialist wanting free stuff without working for anything.

Bill de Blasio to Pete Buttigieg: ‘Try to Not Be So Smug When You Just Got Your Ass Kicked’

And hey @PeteButtigieg, try to not be so smug when you just got your ass kicked. You know how we form a winning coalition to beat Trump? With a true multi-racial coalition of working Americans: something @BernieSanders has proven he can do + you haven’t. Dude, show some humility

DeBlasio is pointing out what everyone has noticed about Mayor Pete; the dude is smug, annoying smug. He's very smart (for a Democrat) but he needs to learn from Yang and just tone it down.

1. It doesn’t matter who gets elected president: If Congress doesn’t support it, it can't become law.

Wow, this is shaping up to be some mind-blowing shit.

2. The health care industry doesn't just oppose Medicare for All — it opposes every plan that would expand the government’s role in health care.

Oh my gosh, say this isn't so. I'm sure they just oppose it for purely altruistic reasons because it's an indisputable fact that Medicare For All could not possibly work as well as our current flawless system that could never be improved.

It’s not clear, however, that the moderates’ plans would fare much better. The same industries are equally set against their more incremental health care reforms. The main industry group fighting these proposals has used the word “disastrous” in reference to the relatively modest proposals of Joe Biden and Pete Buttigieg.

This is actually a decent point. This is why we need to go big, or go home. When you negotiate, you don't start by lowballing people unless you want to strengthen the other guy's position and weaken your own.

3. The courts could kill Obamacare in 2020, and that could doom Medicare for All.

More shocking news.

4. Even if Medicare for All survives court challenges, it could still end up weakened by lawsuits.

Man, this article is redpilling me HARD.

5. No country on earth, no matter how socialist, has been able to make Bernie Sanders' vision work.[

Every country with some form of universal health care either requires some out-of-pocket costs or puts a limit on the benefits available in order to make the system work. And many, if not most of them, still have thriving parallel private insurance industries.

You mean, if Bernie is elected, he won't send people who worked for private insurance to the gulag? Face it, even a watered-down, half-assed version of M4a would be infinitely better than the crooked racket we have now. The mafia only wishes they could do something as crooked as this.

I support Sanders instead of Warren because I think Sanders is way more politically savvy (which I think is being proven by how he did in Nevada despite the union bosses coming out against him), which will be necessary with all the opposition I know he will be facing as President. Even the article you posted shows wihy Biden and Buttigieg's rose-colored vision of "compromise" and "unity" won't work. We've seen the "effectiveness" of that strategy before from 2008-2016.
