Goal: What is the best way to achieve our goals? Are dreams a necessary requisite? Why is it essential we have both dreamers and realists to achieve mankind's goals?

Quote:
“There are some people, who live in a dream world, and there are some who face reality; and then there are those who turn one into the other.” Douglas H. Everett

Quote:
"To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe." Anatole France, 1844 - 1924

Quote:
“If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost: that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them.” Henry David Thoreau

Print is linear and sequential, so the literate individual learns to think lineally and sequencially, to think in terms of a beginning, a middle, and an end, to think in terms of goals, to think teleologically.

The electronic media, by contrast, are not linear and sequential, and know not goals. They are circular, the eternal return, they are like dancing with our whole body. Instead of goals we juxtapose, instead of goals we contrast.
