Lots of stuff.

This second: I am exceedingly grateful for modern medicine and my access to it. I get chronic migraines. I just had one start up around 445, rapid onset, extremely painful, decreased vision in one eye, had to retreat to a cold dark room. So nauseated and just stabbing unpleasant pain. Curled up in bed with an ice pack in the dark.

Took my dose of Imitrex at 450. Migraine is now almost gone. Taking one more dose to fully kick it.

My life would be unbearable if not for modern medicine.

I’ll add more mundane things I’m grateful for later. There are quite a bit. Pollyanna’s “glad game” is pretty useful.

I regularly tell people, "You are more than I deserve". Some demur and say, "No, no, of course you deserve it", others laugh at the humour. but gratitude is a flower I wear in my button hole, with a light heart.
