I identify with a certain belief system, but I'm always open to the idea my beliefs are wrong. Life after death is a part of that belief system but, in a technical sense, it isn't a falsifiable hypothesis, so I can't ascertain whether or not it exists via empirical or conventional means.
That being said, I'm open to the possibility it might be a thing. Who knows? Interesting to speculate about. As long as it isn't the Fog of Lost Souls.
