Yes. I would identify this as ad ignorantiam also. However, some may not realize they have committed this fallacy.I feel we should quote the fallacious statement to this thread so that they at least finally realize that some judge their argument is sophistical. Of course, they can always argue back if they don't agree.
A good philosophical rebuttal to respond to the type of argument would be:
