some years ago i spent a lot of time finding similarities in different religions and also how they relate to modern understanding of the world. pretty interesting subject, which i think i already figured out pretty well, except that it led me to another path which cannot be conquered(psychology).

I guess you're right. Psychology is actually a branch in religion. Did you find any similarities between the Maoris and the Christrains their religion?

i didnt really look much into maoris(australian aboriginals have interesting idea of dream world :p ), but what i do know about them is that the polynesian people separated from africans much before christianity took place. im not really sure what point they separated from them, but i would assume that they are same people that went east same time as native americans and possibly asians did(and that i think happened before other humans than sapiens disappeared). thats really early and the connection between beliefs should pretty much go to some african tribal beliefs.
