The Parliamentary Triangle is the most prestigious part of Canberra. And there is only one residence in the whole of the Parliamentary Triangle. It is not the residence of the Prime Minister or even the residence of the Governor General, but is the residence of the Roman Catholic Bishop.

And as it was the Irish who brought Roman Catholicism to Oz, we are interested in what the Prime Minister of Ireland has to say about Roman Catholicism today.

And the Prime Minister of Ireland, in Parliament, has just said that the Roman Catholic Church, at the highest level, is still covering up the rape of children by the clergy.

So every day, as I drive past the residence of the Roman Catholic Bishop, located in the most prestigious part of our Capital, I remember the recent words of the Prime Minister of Ireland to his Parliament.
