There's really no reason I should believe in a psychokinetic energy field because of this. It's a home movie. A fan's blowing. I don't actually see the cameraman speaking, therefore I cannot tell if he is just voicing over a video clip. This isn't taking place in a controlled environment.

And referring to the German video - for all I know, that could be a clip from a movie. It is not shot in a documentary fashion, and I can't even understand what they are saying.

yea you really shouldn't believe in PK because of this, the only way to know it for sure is through first hand experience, do it yourself.

I have my reasons for acknowledging certain individuals as legit tk practitioners. But the point was that a lot of people don't know what to believe in anymore and look elsewhere to formulate their own opinions, what's the difference between believing James Randi and believing this video? Not much.

You have a point there. James Randi was, after all, a magician. However, his discredit does not credit your claims.

You said that James Randi is also a trickster.

well like I said it really boils down to the individual, it's entirely up to you to make up your own mind, I'm not going to really try to force my belief on you, I'm just showing some stuff that I know of which correlates with my own beliefs. This is my thread after all, and I'd like to exercise my free speech.

Just a comparison

I will try to find the other comparison where james blows on a pen to make it roll forward, and the other lady makes similar cylindrical objects move side to side.

James Randi also admits that he's not proving these people are using the same methods, merely that he's using trickery to perform similar feats where the difference is not noticable to the average observer.... if there is a difference, in many cases there might not be one.
