If you had to sum up your opinion of whether or not humanity is headed in the right direction, what would be your choice phrase?

Please choose one:

The world of humanity as we know it is:

A. Headed to hell in a handbasket
B. Moving along at its pre-destined pace and is unfolding as it should
C. Meaningless in the grand scheme of things
D. Not something I care to think about.

B.

It's just a vast complex system that is tending toward greater complexity.

E. Extremely flat.

I chose to believe that people will be motivated to save collective humanity or we're doomed. I do what I can, and then I have to not concern myself with it anymore or I get very very upset.

The world it's not enough.

Actually, B. Sometimes I think A, but nah. B.

Everything's gonna be fine, but what's an INTJ doing starting a thread like this? That's what I'm pondering now.

B. I feel sometimes the path we travel down makes us feel like that moment in time is an A...

It's A. I even knew what A would say before I read the choices.

There's no 'pre-destined' place for humanity, the future is a blank page (how.very.poetic). Therefore, the answer is either A or B imo. If we manage to change politically, economically etc. before the tipping point, there is a big chance for us to survive and to evolve. Otherwise, it's most likely B.

(if we accept Lovelock's Gaia theory however, we're already past the bifurcation stage)

I am trully not sure in which category I belong to.

Since I think that it is mankinds destiny to exinct. But I prefer the way that it merges with machines. So I could be A, B or C

And that's not my opinion, that's the right answer.

A & C here as well... I think that we're royally screwing things up, but in the grand scheme of the universe we don't really matter all that much :(

C... In the end, we'll all be dead and you'll see that it matters not one bit.

Also why is this thing not a poll?
