We can see how impossible it is to admit we are members of a cult. The very idea offends our amour propre, it offends our ego, and our sense of ourselves.

It is impossible to admit we have been gulled, impossible to admit we are so vulnerable. Far better to deny we are a cult.

And fortunately we never know something is true until it is denied.

There are some truths going on here. This thread has gone for over 10 pages, that's absolutely true. You've been banging this drum for damn close to ten years, that's also absolutely true. It looks like you've had little or no success in talking people out of an interest in MBTI, that's also true. You've annoyed two (possibly three) shitloads of people with your posts about this subject, that's established fact.

We may be cult members but your behavior resembles that of a fanatic.

Feeling a little thirsty now, where's my Kool Aid?
Repeat after me: "Wocka, wocka, wocka". See? That wasn't so hard, now was it?

I propose, you dispose. And it is the repitition that entrances us for 10 years.

We are moving from the teleological, the linear and sequential, the beginning, the middle, and the end, to the eternal return. We are mving from the straight line to the circle. And you are being carried along with me, willy nilly.

You then might locate MBTI within the New Age religion.

And you might locate the New Age within the culture of narcissism.

But most of all you might point out that MBTI is not a valid personality test. And the way it is administered is completely invalid.

And finally you might interview those who have found their way out of MBTI.

The conversation continues. It is not the conclusion but the journey that is importan. And notice: the journey is eternal, the journey is circular, we are emotionally engaged, we are emotionally engaged across the globe in real time.

Time and space are abolished as we hold hands.

It's true, as time and space are abolished, we become disoriented, just as we become disorientated when the book died, and the God of the Book died, along with the literate individual, and we find we have nothing left but to hold. hands. For those who reach out, it is a joy, and for those who hold back, it is a terminal sadness.
