I came across this interesting study today.

A summary of key items:

- 17% of the study participants were successfully phished
- Some users are more vulnerable and may be successfully phished repeatedly
- People who score high on "neuroticism" are more vulnerable to phishing attacks
- Women are more likely to fall for phishing attacks than men
- People who score high on "openness" have more lax privacy settings on Facebook
- People who realize there are higher risks online are no better at defending themselves
