Same. Except I also don't really join clubs.

My Trust level is down in the toilet, and my Sociability's pretty low. (Though Respectfulness and Assertiveness balance those out.) That probably explains why I don't join clubs

I'm not sure what my trust level is. It's never been high but I suspect it may be slightly higher than in the past. That seems to correlate with me joining clubs/groups too.

I read a book called The Almost Nearly Perfect People by Michael Booth, a Brit married to a Danish woman and he set out to see why they are so happy in the Nordics. One thing he found is that the average Dane is a member of 2.8 clubs. It doesn't seem to matter what kind of group/club it is - the author did a test and joined a chorus group and ended up being happy he did.

Obviously there is far more in play with the happiness levels in the Nordic countries but I suspect that security they feel in each country increases trust which makes them more likely to seek out groups/clubs. I would also suspect it's one reason group/club membership has dropped off significantly in the US. Not much feeling of security for many for a long time. I'm hoping that changes.
