I started taking the test and stopped about halfway through, as it's another MBTI test in which the nature of the questions are too straight-forward, and this feel like they're telling you the answer in the question.

"Do you trust your intuition more or senses?"
"Do you prefer to alone time or being around others?"

I prefer ones that provide context, so it doesn't feel like I'm actively choosing my own type based on what I think I should or want to be.

"Do you prefer to alone time or being around others?"

Considering I prefer both for healthy balance, that question stinks.

ENFP
The ENFP is the heady individual, creative, quick, impulsive and loving lots of possibilities.

Friendly with endless energy the ENFP will be at the heart of where the people are, future oriented looking far beyond the obvious often seeing things that others fail to. They are driven by the new and have an insatiable curiosity making them mercurial, fresh and enthusiastic. However, having so many interests can mean that, at times, the ENFP may have trouble keeping still, prioritising and focusing on the task at hand, especially if something more interesting is looming. The routine and detail bore the ENFP who wants life, work and social to merge into one stimulating environment with endless possibilities shared with people.

ISTP

Practical, resourceful, adaptable pragmatists, with an excellent capacity for understanding how anything works, displaying logical, detached analysis.
The ISTP will be full-on, or full off - they don’t do shades of grey. The ISTP moves seamlessly from quiet bystander to active participant and leader in one fell swoop, then back again to invisible, apparently disinterested introvert. They are at their best in times of crisis and challenge. The ISTP is at their best in times of crisis and challenge, but will have little appetite for follow-through, as they will be waiting for a new complex challenge. Independent and self-contained the ISTP will be difficult to get to know as they will reveal only what they choose to reveal, when they choose to reveal it as that is their way, when they are ready.

Character snalysis by mbti uses the same techniques as astrology. We do better with Character Analysis by Wilhelm Reich.

Well, to give the test credit, I do come across as far more structured and organized than the stereotypical perceiver. My ESFJ mother has had a huge influence in my life, so I've picked up quite a few of her habits and ways of dealing with life. However, that's just practiced discipline. My ISTP father is also far from your stereotypical perceiver either.

ISFP
The astute observer of life, quiet, introspective and kindly.

Focusing on the here and now, the ISFP will live life to the full, cherishing the present moment, and finding real pleasure in the more sensory and practical activities such as painting or handicrafts. They need an inner balance, a kind of karma for their lives and this means keeping things as uncomplicated as possible. Planning and control are not for the ISFP, they much prefer to stay in the background doing the things they like, keeping a balance, which includes choosing to remain, happily disorganised. Quiet supporters, rarely will an ISFP be the leader, preferring to remain behind the scenes, observing, understanding, but saying very little.

We get a character analysis from the national socialist Carl Jung, and we get character analysis from the anti-national socialist Wilhelm Reich. Wilhelm Reich had a good character, while Carl Jung had a bad character. Personally I would trust an analysis from Reich rather than Jung.

INFP

profile-header-infp.jpg

The INFP has two contrary characteristics, curiosity and shyness. They need to be kept informed but not the centre of attention.

To the INFP life is a long quest for meaning and harmony and their personal values are so important to them. This means that it is essential to the INFP that their beliefs and their actions are totally in sync at all times. An INFP is unlikely to take any action which they don’t believe in their heart is right. Yet there is a crusading side to the INFP that would surprise even those who knew the person well. When a personal value, or belief is trodden on, then the INFP can become uncharacteristically outspoken but their values are usually so well hidden that the other person may not realise they have done so.

INTP
The INTP is very sceptical, independent, and values independence in others.

The INTP is intellectually curious and enjoys the more complex and theoretical problems, often for their own sake. Practical application has little interest for them, preferring to identify the solutions and then leave someone else to plan the work. They do however like things done properly and have very high standards. The routine, the detail bores them rigid and they will put off completing tasks, especially those that they see as unnecessary, preferring to 'blitz' them nearer the deadline. For the INTP follow-through does not come naturally, and completion will be via huge bursts of energy at the last minute but it will be done.

INTP Characteristics

The general chitchat of social life is not for INTPs and they prefer to speak only about areas of interest and importance.

INTP Relationships

The INTP is deep and private and wary about close emotional involvement as emotions tends to be outside their own life-space.

INTP Careers

The INTP will not fit snugly into a typical structure, valuing independence, of thought and action and needing their space.

INTP At Work

INTPs are best suited to analysing problems and evaluating ideas and suggestions and weighing up the pros and cons of options.

Hold on, first time a dichotomy test gets me as an intuitive.
