Your Career Type: the Thinker
Your primary interest area is Thinking, which means you are interested in research, analysis, and intellectual inquiry.

Your drive to work comes from a motivation to discover new ideas and develop new theories to explain the world around you.

These are a few of the personal strengths that you bring to the job.

You are highly energetic and sociable. You have a talent for reaching out to others and engaging people. You will excel in highly social jobs where your ability to approach people and make new connections is crucial to your success. You are a socially motivated worker and will gravitate to a team environment, where you have the chance to earn the recognition and respect of others.

You are good at negotiating a balance between meeting your own needs and serving the needs of other people. You cooperate with others and look for compromise when you can, but you are careful not to sacrifice your own chances for success and advancement. You are able to get along with other people and function well on a team, while still making sure you are looking out for your own interests.

You are good at balancing structure and flexibility. You know how to plan ahead and set goals, while still being open to opportunities that arise in the moment. You tend to persist in your work unless something important distracts you, in which case you can easily switch gears. Although you like to stay organized and on-track when possible, you are comfortable with a certain level of uncertainty and are ready to adapt when circumstances change.

-------------------

Thinker, some Fe-dom I am . I have to say though, my key strength - as a thinker - are actually super important in my current job.

I also bet no one would believe that I am good at negotiating due to my behavior on the forums, hahaha.

We got the same career type, but different strengths. Mine are in the spoiler.

I would have thought the two would be more closely linked.

Yeah your strength set is much more in alignment with what Thinker is. I am (and kind of always have been) an odd duck with what my skill set and strengths are while also being a scientist.

These are a few of the personal strengths that you bring to the job.

You are equally good at working with others, and working on your own. You can engage with other people to accomplish team projects effectively, but you are also able to motivate yourself to work independently. Because you can be productive in both an independent mode and a social mode, you are able to adapt well to a variety of work environments and activities.
You are good at coping with the stress levels of a typical job and are unlikely to become anxious, depressed, or upset due to the demands of your work. You are generally resilient and able to bounce back from stressful situations. While a highly stressful job may not suit you, you are well equipped to cope with the emotional demands of most positions.
You tend to be tough-minded and comfortable with conflict. You can probably function well in competitive environments, and you don't need approval from others to feel confident. You are good at making tough decisions, even if they are unpopular.
