I do not know this character. It must be from the new series.
For my part, I mostly favorite the original from 1978. Even the other two movies following were not equal to match. I did not find so much pleasure in the three parts what had happened before... and I have not seen anything of that new stuff until now. So, this Poe Dameron is an unknown someone for me
