65% to the right.

I dont know about these things, although to be honest I am really not sure about defining left and right in terms of habits and norms, as the right has monopolised much of what should be bipartisan good sense, the left has let them do that, and when the left has tried to provide a normative basis for their ideas its been shite, well intended and wrong.

So I guess that makes me right most of the time but I'm actually a socialist supporter of radical democratic or popular sovereignty movements.

Yeah, I'm a bit skeptical as well, I was just wondering how people would score and if they feel it is accurate or just bullshit.

The arugula question made me laugh.

Solidly left wing

70% left, 30% right

Also, the real differences in these questions was not do you like/agree or do you not like/disagree something, it's what you found to be pointless or never heard of.

Me too. If you take some of their other quizzes that comes up fairly often because there was a study that correlated certain behaviors with liking bitter vegetables (like arugala) Part of me doubts that correlation though.

I'm also another 55 Lefter

I've never heard of it, what is it? Is it political?

It's completely unscientific. A fun test, a parlour game. Little more. I wouldn't read too much into any results.

I think the Country Music question threw me and I wanted to skip it. I listen to everything. Metal, Rap, Classical, Jazz...but I listen to Bluegrass more than Classical so I leaned in that direction.

Yeah, I thought that question was bullshit. Personally, I chose classical, but I don't think this preference holds as much weight with younger generations, what with country and alt country sort of having a renaissance in recent decades. In other words, country has gained in reputation with a lot of left-leaning hipster types. On the flip, there's still probably a lot of conservative, William Buckley motherfuckers rocking out to Stravinsky and Beethoven.

And Arugala, this seems like it would be less dependent on one's political views and more so on their socioeconomic background.

I didn't like that question either. But just because one listens to country music doesn't make them in cahoots with the NRA country music alliance. I was never surprised that it was a thing but I kind of thought - there has to be one of you (artists) that aren't down with being told you are "part of a lifestyle and a bond between the best and brightest in country music and hard-working Americans."
