Notice the word "and"?
An MBTI question would probably look like this:

They are not mutually exclusive, yet many have come to believe they are. Just because I enjoy solitary work doesn't mean I don't enjoy spending time with others in a deep discussion.

Same. Being an introvert doesn't mean you abhor spending time with people. I love having long, deep conversations, but it's usually with one or two people at a time. What I can't stand is being in a large group discussion where everyone's always interrupting each other, and the conversation is nothing but vapid small talk.

The binary test questions I had to answer were annoying since the answers are contextual for me.
Scoop out my eyes with a rusty spoon....
But yeah. Same here. It's not even just a mental preference, it's partly the noise stimulation that is like fingers across a blackboard (in addition to the vapidity bombardment of my brain). Even when I like the people, sometimes I just don't want to enter a crowd scene.
