I don't know if this has been done yet (if so.. moderators can merge this) but I think it would be a good idea if we post our results on these tests.

Your Cognitive Development Profile
The forty-eight questions you rated earlier tap into the eight cognitive processes. Some questions tapped into basic or developed use of a process used by itself, while other questions tapped into use of multiple processes at once. The profile below is based on your responses. The number of squares indicate strength of response. The equivalent numeric is shown in parentheses along with likely level of development.

Summary Analysis of Profile
By focusing on the strongest configuration of cognitive processes, your pattern of responses most closely matches individuals of this type: INTP

Lead (Dominant) Process
Introverted Thinking (Ti): Gaining leverage (influence) using a framework. Detaching to study a situation from different angles and fit it to a theory, framework or principle. Checking for accuracy. Using leverage to solve the problem.

Support (Auxilliary) Process
Extraverted Intuiting (Ne): Exploring the emerging patterns. Wondering about patterns of interaction across various situations. Checking what hypotheses and meanings fit best. Trusting what emerges as you shift a situations dynamics.

If these cognitive processes don't fit well then consider these types: ENTP, or INFP

According to this, I am INTP.

As Nocapszy and others have pointed out, the CP test indicates which functions you value, not necessarily which ones you actually have a natural preference for.

I've always wondered why my introverted functions are higher then the extraverted except for Inuitive. Like Si is Higher then Se, Ti higher then Te And Fi higher then Fe. This is what usually happens. I mean they aren't higher by much except Ti and Te

My NI and Fe in a dead heat again. Dratted borderline territory.

I've always wondered why my introverted functions are higher then the extraverted except for Inuitive. Like Si is Higher then Se, Ti higher then Te And Fi higher then Fe. This is what usually happens, does it mean I live too much in my head, or what?

Your results look pretty INFP, with some minor hiccups. I tested higher in both F functions than some of the other functions. I'm starting to see a pattern with say, Ts, they score high on both T functions. Same with F.

Perhaps you prefer the I version of most functions due to your internal nature.

Ah! I see you scored low on your fourth function. I do that with my supposedly tertiary function, Se. I score higher in Si (which falls 7th) than I do Se. *mighty shrug*

Yeah, I'm quite an Fe-tard. Actually, I've noticed that a lot of INTPs are as well.

And I'm totally jealous. You get both high Ni and Fe, and a decent Ne and Ti as well?? No fucking fair. Oh well, I could still probably beat you at Risk.

Because, that's the most important thing in life, to be able to beat people at Risk. Those things such as food, relationships, and shelter are just not important as being able to beat someone at risk.

sorry couldn't resist, it was mocking me :ninja:

I've taken this test before, and this is pretty protypical (though I usually get lower Fe).

What I always think when I read the questions I beat are probably for my least used functions is how strange and wonderful that sort of experience would be. Like " merge and feel intimate oneness with other people" (Fe, I'm guessing). How completely different from my own life experience!

Or "Spur action and pull off results simply by making your presence felt". (Which function is this supposed to be?)

About the test- it seems to be designed to measure only how good you are at the pinnacle of the manifestation of the function. (How much you'd gel with description of a person dominant, or sometimse auxilary in that function.) Which probably makes it poor for determining the relative strength of the other functions.

Yeah, I'm quite an Fe-tard. Actually, I've noticed that a lot of INTPs are as well.

I've inherited the Se Blind Spot from me Dad. It's kinda  how oblivious we can both be to the external world. I have a tendency to lean heavily on those functions that work to compensate for my weak S (and marginal T).

Thank goodness for my ENFP twin.

And I'm totally jealous. You get both high Ni and Fe, and a decent Ne and Ti as well?? No fucking fair. Oh well, I could still probably beat you at Risk.

A power-mad eNFJ beating beaten at Risk?! Never! *rattles saber* ;) You wanna beat my pants off, get out the chess board. I've never been able to get the better of my dad or sister. FIE!

But of course they are. Without food and shelter, we would not have the energy or place to play Risk. And without relationships, we would not be able to pass the Risk-playing traditions onto our young. You have to think in the big picture, prplchknz.

You know, despite my decent Se score, I can be horribly oblivious to the world as well. I'm not sure why I got that, it may be a fluke.

Oh, so I don't even get Risk, now! However, strip chess sounds like a fun game, so I'll take you up on that.

 of course silly me. It all revolves around the ability to play risk. Not enlightenment, but a strategy game rather.

Sounds great - you and Bobby Fischer can go first. :D

 I suppose I should have known better than to challenge an ENFJ to a strategy game. If you can't beat 'em, make 'em compete while naked, eh? You might be onto something there...
