I've taken this test before, but here are my latest results:

Summary Analysis of Profile
By focusing on the strongest configuration of cognitive processes, your pattern of responses most closely matches individuals of this type: INFJ

Lead (Dominant) Process
Introverted Intuiting (Ni): Transforming with a meta-perspective. Withdrawing from the world and focusing your mind to receive an insight or realization. Checking if synergy results. Trying out a realization to transform things.

Support (Auxilliary) Process
Extraverted Feeling (Fe): Building trust through giving relationships. Empathically responding to others' needs and take on their needs and values as your own. Checking for respect and trust. Giving and receiving support to grow closer to people.

If these cognitive processes don't fit well then consider these types: ENFJ, or INTP

Didn't the test still say you are an ENFP. I got Fi > Ne and it still said I'm an ENFP. Which I am. Or at least I think so :p

:/ The link doesn't lead to anything useful.

Anyway, I googled it, and got a link to an older version.

Cognitive Processes Test

Maybe someone's already found this but Dario Nardi has his cognitive development assessment at Keys 2 Cognition - Cognitive Processes

This site is also home to info on his UCLA brain research lab.

He's changed the wording on some questions.

Nice site layout.

I wish they had his book on Amazon Japan. :frown:

Cognitive Process Level of Development (Preference, Skill and Frequency of Use)
extraverted Sensing (Se) (42.5) excellent use
introverted Sensing (Si) (23) limited use
extraverted Intuiting (Ne) (36.5) excellent use
introverted Intuiting (Ni) (25.1) average use
extraverted Thinking (Te) (16.9) limited use
introverted Thinking (Ti) (24.3) average use
extraverted Feeling (Fe) (28.2) average use
introverted Feeling (Fi) (43.7) excellent use
Summary Analysis of Profile
By focusing on the strongest configuration of cognitive processes, your pattern of responses most closely matches individuals of this type: ESFP

Lead (Dominant) Process
Extraverted Sensing (Se): Immersing in the present context. Responding naturally to everything tangible you detect through your senses. Checking with what your gut instincts say. Testing limits and take risks for big rewards.

Support (Auxilliary) Process
Introverted Feeling (Fi): Staying true to who you really are. Paying close attention to your personal identity, values and beliefs. Checking with your conscience. Choosing behavior congruent with what is important to you.

If these cognitive processes don't fit well then consider these types: ISFP, or ENFP

Yanno, it's no wonder people don't take Type theories seriously with this shit around:

"Knowing your age in important to understanding your responses."

I don't see MIT hosting materials with grammatically incorrect statements on their open course website.... and this isn't even repeated material going to some 2nd rate undergrad, this will go into FACTOR when accounting for error and variance into new productions of research. Scary, frankly

This isn't an official website of UCLA but something put together in a professor's spare time. I count as my friends those who email me and point out similar mistakes on my own website--no matter how carefully I proof my Ni drive to share information gets in the way of Si proofing. Note again that this is not for scientific journals.

oh well if it's not getting counted into research then NP, figured it was a new kind of model!

And thanks for considering me "friendly " :p I see many mistakes in psych that are sloppy and it's not that it's incorrect, it's the possibility that it would yield confusion when reading the items and responding.

I just took the following test:
Keys 2 Cognition - Cognitive Processes

and this is what I got:
Cognitive Process Level of Development (Preference, Skill and Frequency of Use)
extraverted Sensing (Se) ************************ (24.1)
average use
introverted Sensing (Si) ************************ (24)
limited use
extraverted Intuiting (Ne) ************************************* (37.4)
excellent use
introverted Intuiting (Ni) ***************************** (29.1)
average use
extraverted Thinking (Te) *************************** (27.1)
average use
introverted Thinking (Ti) ********************************************* (45.5)
excellent use
extraverted Feeling (Fe) ************************ (24)
limited use
introverted Feeling (Fi) ***************************** (29)
average use

The difference between "limited" and "average" is slim.
