Summary Analysis of Profile
By focusing on the strongest configuration of cognitive processes, your pattern of responses most closely matches individuals of this type: INFP

Lead (Dominant) Process
Introverted Feeling (Fi): Staying true to who you really are. Paying close attention to your personal identity, values and beliefs. Checking with your conscience. Choosing behavior congruent with what is important to you.

Support (Auxilliary) Process
Extraverted Intuiting (Ne): Exploring the emerging patterns. Wondering about patterns of interaction across various situations. Checking what hypotheses and meanings fit best. Trusting what emerges as you shift a situation’s dynamics.

If these cognitive processes don't fit well then consider these types: ENFP, or ISFP

If these results are different from what you know of yourself, you might consider why your developmental pattern does not align with your expectation. You might also consider exploring this result as a possible better fit.

I wonder if Ive taken this before. Will have to search

So I'm feeling very IDGAFish today. Sometimes I score a bit higher on Te, but today I may not like it.

If these cognitive processes don't fit well then consider these types: ESFP, or ISTP

Other tests have placed me closer to the NFP/STJ rather than the SFP/NTJ quadrant, but the functions somewhat align here (Fi, Se, Ni, Te). The problem here, though, is that I'm rather talkative and initiating, which would perhaps be indicative of ESFP with highly developed Fi and Ni.

Yes, all of this is very confusing lol. Si, Se, Ti, Te, Ni.... :BangHead: It's hard enough to remember "they're, their, there" and I USE those in writing all the time. :rofl1: How the heck can one remember all the symbols and how they play into each other?

By focusing on the strongest configuration of cognitive processes, your pattern of responses most closely matches individuals of this type: ISFJ

Lead (Dominant) Process
Introverted Sensing (Si): Stabilizing with a predictable standard. Carefully comparing a situation to the customary ways you’ve come to rely on. Checking with past experiences. Stabilizing a situation and invest for future security.

Support (Auxilliary) Process
Extraverted Feeling (Fe): Building trust through giving relationships. Empathically responding to others' needs and take on their needs and values as your own. Checking for respect and trust. Giving and receiving support to grow closer to people.

If these cognitive processes don't fit well then consider these types: ESFJ, or INFP"

I'm an INFP. I don't know how I buggered this test so thoroughly lol. First time I've ever typed as ISFJ and the description does not fit. I don't work, I'm too laid back, I'm so messy that I have to squeeze through a tight space to get from my desk to my bed- so organization is NOT part of my makeup :rotfl:
I've always WANTED it to be and I'm always envious of people who have honed the skill, but I've never been able to develop it.

Interesting, for once it's Fe over Fi. And Si over Se,
but for some reason my Te is through the roof yet the results say 'INTJ' (followed by ENTJ and INTP as the next best types).

Because all the introverted functions are high. So it assumes those scores might be reflecting an introvert.

It gave you E, because all the extraverted functions are strong (including the NTP's shadows). So it assumes that's a sign of the first letter. So really, the scores would point to an INTP with a strong tertiary Si. (Type preference is not about relative strength anyway).

I think what they did to determine I versus E is to add up the introverted functions, then add up the extroverted functions, and see which is larger.

Your introverted functions add up to 119.4 and your extroverted functions add up to 120.4.

However, in terms of theory I don't know if that really makes sense, because Se for example is the 7th function of INTP, but the 8th function of ENTP, so a higher Se should indicate INTP rather than ENTP.

The Four Temperaments
Corresponding best-fit temperaments based on your profile: Catalyst; secondly Improviser; then Theorist; and lastly, Stabilizer.

That makes sense to me.
