Cool test! I got ENFP.
One thing that was strange was my Se was the third highest. Isn't Se the supposedly least used function for ENFP?

extraverted Intuiting (Ne) **************************************** (40.6)
introverted Feeling (Fi) *************************************** (39.6)
extraverted Sensing (Se) ************************************ (36.6)

Not if you're more of an ExFP...which is something I can apparently also come across as at times.

There's nothing wrong with being balanced.

I think functions are the best way to determine type, but I don't believe they fall in the same neat little order for each person...I think that's wishful thinking, that the human mind could be that cut and dried.

i always circle around isfp, esfp, istp with this test. i'd say it's accurate. i get higher Ni than i probably should tho. i'm not sure how to "rate" it.

Ni is the tertiary function for both ISFP and ISTP, so it's not that strange actually.

oh didnt know istps had it too (i knew isfp does.. i'm just not sure how to quantify it. definitely not a strong trait, but i identify with it somewhat).

Se is weaker than Fi and markedly weaker than Ne, so not really. Hermes is pretty balanced though, which I do think is awesome.

His responses in that regard are almost identical to mine.

There are people on this site who think I'm ESFP. I think the fact that I've developed sensing more than some Ns is the reason for that, while I'm still an ENFP.

I was browsing along here one day, until I saw a link that posted this site.

Keys 2 Cognition - Cognitive Processes

I'm not sure how accurate it is, since I've always tested ENTP whenever I took it, but I got this:
By focusing on the strongest configuration of cognitive processes, your pattern of responses most closely matches individuals of this type: ISTP

How accurate do you think this test is, and why?

I got ISFJ. Which I can see a bit. I used to have a great memory but last fall I was diagnosed with hypothyroid and my memory has gone downhill since then.

I think I can agree with the function results...but I think it really effed up with typing me as ISTP...recently I've been trying to see it, but I just can't.

Summary Analysis of Profile
By focusing on the strongest configuration of cognitive processes, your pattern of responses most closely matches individuals of this type: INTP

Lead (Dominant) Process
Introverted Thinking (Ti): Gaining leverage (influence) using a framework. Detaching to study a situation from different angles and fit it to a theory, framework or principle. Checking for accuracy. Using leverage to solve the problem.

Support (Auxilliary) Process
Extraverted Intuiting (Ne): Exploring the emerging patterns. Wondering about patterns of interaction across various situations. Checking what hypotheses and meanings fit best. Trusting what emerges as you shift a situation’s dynamics.

Well that ought to piss the INTJs off.

ISTP, which I believe is quite inaccurate. I have just been a little more interested of the sensory experience than usually, which is reflected on my answers.

My overall N score was higher than S score; the test just picked the highest from all, which was Se. Probably because I'm on a vacation and I've tried to relax by concentrating on the immediate, like food and music.

How accurate is the test for me? Dunno. The results are pretty much a summary of what you put in, and what you put in is probably driven mostly by recent experiences. So, for me, this is probably a reflection of stuff that I've done recently.

I really don't like terms such as "good use" or "excellent use". The test questions imply that you should rate based upon what you end up doing and that responses have nothing to do with how proficient you are.

The last time i took the test was about 6 months ago and I've just been pasting them same results in these threads. I thought it was about time that I took it again and this the order:
Ni, Fe, Fi, Te, Ti, Si, Ne, Se.

ENTP's are wonderful bastards, but I'm pretty sure I'm an INTP. I've always been a bit skeptical about the whole cognitive processes thing, though.
