Hey there! Just wanted to share a quick little personality quiz, The Five Elements Personality Test.

Here's my result:

The Wind Dragon

2379776109363619449.jpeg___1_500_1_500_cb94de6a_.png

Wind Dragons are very intelligent and place strong emphasis on intellectual pursuits. When thinking and creating ideas, these dragons take a very objective approach and may at times seem a bit emotionally detached. Because of their strong objective nature, Wind Dragons can communicate and express ideas with mental agility; however, with so many theories, thoughts, and ideas running through their heads, Wind Dragons sometimes have trouble getting things done and staying grounded in reality. In fact, Wind Dragons are dreamers, constantly thinking but not always following through as well as others. This idealistic and impractical side of their personality is balanced by their rational and logical nature, allowing analyze situations fully and planning carefully before they take any sort of action, and while Wind Dragons may ponder and vacillate, they rarely make foolish mistakes. Detached and not overly emotional, these dragons are almost always objective and fair-minded. They are people-oriented but often more inclined toward the group than the individual.

So what did everyone else get!?

The Ice Dragon
0% Fire, 50% Water, 0% Earth, 50% Air, and 0% Lightning!

You are the Ice Dragon, combining the elements of Water and Air!

Ice Dragons often feel pulled between the intellectual and emotional realms of life, and heavy doses of the Water and Air elements make these dragons very much attuned to both domains. In fact, neither the abstract nor the feeling-intuitive world is alien to Ice Dragons, and thus they are able to develop a mode of operation that encompasses both types of perception. This allows the Ice Dragons to to give depth to their theories and ideas and also to gain detachment and perspective on feelings and deeper yearnings. In other words, although Ice Dragons are physically and psychologically sensitive, they are able to balance are rationalize these emotions with their intellectual side. The Air side of Ice Dragons makes them dreamers, escapists, and perhaps a little fantasy-prone, and this amazingly fertile imagination often enhances their specialized skills for dealing with people. In fact, along with their strong empathetic side, Ice Dragons can connect to others on a deeper level and communicate more cogently and concisely. Indeed, the Water and Air elements seem to balance and amplify each other in every respect; however, these dragons do have flaws. Oftentimes, these dragons are not sure with to intellectualize something or just go with their gut-feeling. In other words, there is sometimes a conflict between their desire to think things through and their intuition, which sometimes makes it difficult for these dragons to come to a decision. In fact, althought these dragons are excellent at creating new ideas and abstract theories, it may be quite difficult for the idealistic Ice Dragons to bring these ideas to reality and to fruition.

The Scorch Dragon
50% Fire, 0% Water, 0% Earth, 50% Air, and 0% Lightning!

You are the Scorch Dragon, combining the elements of Fire and Air!

With both the Fire and Air elements, the creative Scorch Dragons are idealistic, aspiring, and positive-thinking. You have the best of intentions and motives, but your approach to life may not be completely realistic. In fact, these dragons are very idealistic, intellectual, and objective. Because of the air element, Scorch Dragons often have many grand ideas, theories, and thoughts that they can communicate and express with mental agility, and additionally, these dragons are more than capable of putting their ideas into action. Often, their strong passion and ambition for their work and ideals comes at the cost of their emotional, material, and physical needs; however, when people look at you, they see a visionary and leader capable of surmounting any obstacle. In fact, you probably have a very effective way with words and a keen sense of humor. The main problem for Scorch Dragons is that they may have trouble getting things done since they are not well grounded in the persistent traits normally required to see the job through to completion. As full of ideas and enthusiasm as Scorch Dragons are, their energies may be scattered. In order for these dragons to be most effective, these dragons must recognize how to allocate and utilize their energy and resources more effectively so that they aren't in a constant state of depletion.

You are the Steam Dragon, combining the elements of Fire and Water!

Steam Dragons have personality elements of both the Fire Dragons and the Water Dragons. Like the Fire Dragons, the assertive, generous, and fun-loving Steam Dragons seem to project a radiant, vitalizing energy that glows with warmth and exuberance, energizing the people around them. Like the Water Dragons, the empathetic Steam Dragons are nurturing, intuitive, and intensely attuned to their feelings. Steam Dragons have a general tendency to express everything emotionally, excitedly, and rather impulsively, and there is sometimes a lack of logical, systematic thought and procedure, with a resulting restlessness and subjective bias. In fact, Steam Dragons are rarely objective and will most often rely on their instincts, gut-feelings, and passion to make decisions, and these dragons are suprisingly accurate in their judgments. Because these dragons put so much passion and effort into their work, they often have a need to be recognized, admired, and appreciated for their achievements and accomplishments. Steam Dragons who don't receive this appreciation are genuinely hurt, and they are prone to falling into a state of deep sadness. To recover from this, the normally extroverted Steam Dragons will often withdraw and spend time alone or with close friends. During this time, they may release any negative feelings by having deep emotional conversations or by expressing themselves through writing, dance, or some form of exercise. Although Steam Dragons are prone to these emotional extremes and intense feelings, their greatest asset is that they function well in high-pressure states, and they do best their best work when being challenged.

You are the Dust Dragon, combining the elements of Earth and Air!

The combination of the Earth and Air elements indicate an alternating pull between a realistic and idealistic nature. More specifically, the Air element signifies that Dust Dragons are intellectual and focus on abstract ideas, theories, and dreams, while the Earth element symbolizes how reliable, practical, and pragmatic these dragons are. By combining these two elements, the Dust Dragon is able to idealize and theorize while staying grounded in reality. This allows these dragons to bring their unique and imaginative ideas and theories from thought to fruition. Dust Dragons have a fairly dry and detached sort of logic that allows them to deal with a great volume of facts and figures without getting overwhelmed by detail, and this enables them to better handle stress and emotion. In fact, Dust Dragons often spend a considerable amount of time carefully analyzing and evaluating a situation, and so others may see them as very dependable and conventional. Their downfall is that they may be far too emotionally detached, and thus they might have some trouble understanding others on an emotional level.

Hard to pick a two question quiz. Felt like other answers might also be applicable. But this outcome works. This one sort of works too

The Wood Dragon

1460555439899024649.jpeg___1_500_1_500_cb94de6a_.png

You are the Wood Dragon, combining the elements of Water and Earth!

The combination of Earth and Water elements produces a dragon with a great deal of depth, seriousness, and a strong sense of self-protectiveness in all activities. Wood Dragons are most likely hard workers, and these dragons enjoy having some sort of stress or burden in their life because it makes them feel more needed and alive. Wood Dragons recognize that others rely on them for security and resources because of their reliable, practicle, and diligent nature. Others can easily see your dependability, endurance, and ability to survive through any calamity, and so they often look up to you to provide support and stability to their lives. In addition, these dragons are often very empathetic, observant, and intuitive, so others will often look to Wood Dragons for answers to the many problems and difficulties in their lives. Because of all this, the energy of these dragons is often used in an effort to maintain or obtain resources. In fact, there may be a great attachment to money, possessions, job, children, and other security factors. Their attachment to security and to rather traditional values is often manifested in a strong adherence to family, home, and community responsibility. Wood Dragons must be careful of becoming too attached to the past and rather fearful of the present and the future. Positive, idealistic thinking may be a great challenge for you.

You are the Fire Dragon!

With their enthusiasm, high spirits, and great faith in self, Fire Dragons seem to project a radiant, vitalizing energy that glows with warmth and exuberance. By radiating so much energy, Fire Dragons stimulate those who are more lethargic, but occasionally your energies overpower or exhaust those who are more introverted and sensitive. With such extreme levels of passion and energy, Fire Dragons need a good deal of freedom to express themselves naturally and will often unrelentingly insist on their own point of view. Fire Dragons are intensely assertive, individualistic, active, and self-expressive, which at times can seem like exhausting traits to those around them; however, Fire Dragons are also good natured, fun-loving, generous, and honest, earning the Fire Dragons many close and loyal friends. In fact, Fire Dragons are natural leaders and usually take charge in everything they do. Although they are such great leaders, Fire Dragons are indepedent and individualistic, causing them to occasionally overlook and fail to take advantage of the talents and abilities of others. In fact, Fire Dragons may sometimes have a big ego and tend to rely more on themselves than others. Because Fire Dragons put so much effort and passion into their work, they often have a need to be recognized, admired, and appreciated for their achievements and accomplishments. Indeed, nothing hurts Fire Dragons more than being ignored, so appreciation from others is oftentimes more important to them than any sort of material possessions.

I was stuck on the first question...I'm gonna see what I get if I answer the other option I was going to pick.

9174380052860280572.jpeg___1_500_1_500_cb94de6a_.png

You are the Plasma Dragon, combining the elements of Fire and Lightning!

With both a Fire and Lightning elemental nature, the persoanlity of Plasma Dragons combines the best and worst aspects of these two elements. For example, Plasma Dragons have an incredible amount of energy and willpower that they literally seem to radiate an aura of vitality and passion. This aura infects and energizes those around them, making others happier, livlier, and more enthusiastic about life; however, there are some who are very introverted and find the Plasma Dragon's exuberant nature very overbearing. With their highly ambitious and driven Fire side along with their perfectionistic Lightning side, Plasma Dragons are able to tackle seemingly insurmountable obstacles. Because of this, others will often look up to Plasma Dragons, and these dragons may take on a leadership role. While these dragons are comfortable in a leadership position, they often prefer to work alone rather than as part of a team. In fact, Plasma Dragons are very individualistic and are sometimes a bit arrogant making them difficult to work with. These incredibly clever and witty dragons expect nothing short of perfection from those around them, and when others don't produce the perfect results, Plasma Dragons becaome quite frustrated and upset. Because Plasma Dragons often feel that others are inferior to them, they will often dominate and take on all the work of team projects, and they expect to get full credit for their achievements and accomplishments. In fact, these dragons can become quite upset if they feel as though their work is unappreciated.

This one seems to be more 'me'.

The Thunder Dragon

0% Fire, 0% Water, 0% Earth, 50% Air, and 50% Lightning!

You are the Thunder Dragon, combining the elements of Air and Lightning!

The combination of the Air and Lightning elements gives the Thunder Dragon a large amount of energy and creativity, and some may even see them as overly energetic. Thunder Dragons normally have a ton of thoughts, ideas, and theories buzzing through their head that they may have trouble organizing and bringing to reality. In fact, these dragons have a very active imagination and are often extremely idealistic. With so many ideas running through their heads, the intellectual Thunder Dragons are ambitious and outgoing, and they will often put tons of effort into bringing their ideas to fruition; however, this may be difficult for the Thunder Dragons because they can be extremely meticulous and perfectionistic. Thunder Dragons often look very carefully at all the little details of what they are doing and may fail to see the bigger picture. The Air element, however, helps the Thunder Dragons better organize their thoughts and ideas because it allows them to think in a logical, objective, and careful way. With good organizational skills and clear thinking, Thunder Dragons are capable of bringing their dreams to reality. Because the Thunder Dragons are dreamers, some may see them as emotionally detached and impractical. In fact, while Thunder Dragons do enjoy the company of others, they may sometimes have trouble connecting on a deeper emotional level.

The Water Dragon

You are the Water Dragon!

Water Dragons are closely in touch with their own feelings and the feelings of others, and they pride themselves on their ability to discern the nuances and subtleties of others and their environment. In fact, Water Dragons approach life and understand it through their emotions and ability to empathize with others. Because of their keen sense of observation and empathetic nature, Water Dragons are oftentimes very intuitive and will rely on their hunches and gut feelings to make decisions. Even though Water Dragons normally don't intellectualize about things, they do have surprisingly accurate judgments, insights, and intuitions, and this is a direct result of their natural sensitivity to the world around them. Because Water Dragons are so intensely attuned to their feelings they are able to frequently experience the heights of emotional bliss, but they may also fall into the depths of despair. To avoid this, Water Dragons are often in need of close emotional relationships, which are essential to their well-being and happiness. Superficial affairs are few and less than satisfying. Romantic, sentimental, and affectionate, Water Dragons desire a stable and secure bond between them and their partner, and when they are happily situated in such a bond, they can be incredibly caring and nurturing. Although some Water Dragons can sometimes be a bit smothering toward their children and possessive of their mate, they only do this because they feel so strongly for those people and because they desire to strengthen the bond between them. While Water Dragons do enjoy having deep conversations with close friends, they often communicate best in non-verbal ways, for example emotionally or psychically through forms of art, dance, music, poetry, and photography. Though Water Dragons are apt to let their heart rule their head they are entirely capable of looking at things objectively if the situation calls for it.

Your direct opposites are the Lava Dragon and the Thunder Dragon.

I got Wind Dragon, which fits slightly better, but the Ice Dragon is also pretty accurate. This test just reminds me why I probably identify more with my enneagram type of 5w4 more than any other type system because it gives emphasis to the "Introverted Intellectual" archetype while still including the "Introverted Romantic" archetype as part of the type as well. In contrast to MBTI, for example, where INTP is the best fit but lacks the aforementioned "Romantic" e4/INFP/Water Element traits - or the color temperament sorter type blends where I identify most with the Mystic, a combination of the introverted intellectual and romantic archetypes. The Wind vs Ice Dragons from this test are much the same, with the Wind Dragon being the pure intellectual (INTP) and the Ice Dragon being the balanced blend of both (like the "Mystic") yet neither quite capture my slight emphasis on intellectual over emotional/romantic the way 5w4 does. Still, cool test and awesome artwork. I'm saving these pictures :D

This idealistic and impractical side of their personality is balanced by their rational and logical nature, allowing them to analyze situations fully and plan carefully before they take any sort of action. While Wind Dragons may ponder and vacillate, they rarely make foolish mistakes. Detached and not overly emotional, these dragons are almost always objective and fair-minded. They are people-oriented but often more inclined toward the group than the individual.

In fact, although these dragons are excellent at creating new ideas and abstract theories, it may be quite difficult for the idealistic Ice Dragons to bring these ideas to reality and to fruition.

Your direct opposites are the Ice Dragon and the Metal Dragon.
