I made that test last year. It isn't perfectly accurate but has some accuracy.

I don't have the time to work on it, so don't expect any updates.

This test outputs one score for each type of information metabolism. You can get them on console screen or on a RESULTS.TXT file. If you want to send results, please send all the scores.

And remember : socionic types don't equal myersian types. I'm LII, and ENTJ, not INTP or INTJ like some of us may expect.

For example, it's normal for an ESTJ to output ESI, for an ISTJ to output LSE, an INTP to output ILE, and so on.

I'm not sure how to read this... unless the largest number is the assessed type? LII seems like an odd type if that's the case (although I admit I've gotten that result on Socionic tests before), but you did say that Socionic types aren't equivalent to MBTI types, so... what do you think? Is it plausible, or is the test most likely just "shifted" towards LII because that's your type?

No, it already typed non-LII's successfully.

This test typed correctly even an LIE who was myersian INTJ.

Okay, then. I'm an INFJ in MBTI. Would it be highly atypical for an INFJ in MBTI to test as LII in Socionics?

Or more generally (in case the first question is too specific to answer), is it normal for F types to test as L types and vice-versa?

Yes. Socionic Logic and Myersian Thinking aren't the same thing.

Myersian Thinking means "tough-mindedness", whereas Socionic Logic means "logic of movement and correlations"

Expected TIM : ()

So IEI, socionics INFp? Could be, I've scored INFp, INFj and ENFp before. I think I'd have gotten an even more accurate result if I wasn't unsure about what you meant by some of the questions and irritated by the often wrong prepositions.

q 10: You're often unsure of your subjective feelings.

Uncertain about what I feel or don't trust them?

q 20: You're often unsure about what will happen tomorrow.

Unsure as in don't know or as in worried?

q 42: You tend to repeat questions you were previously asked.

?

q 43: You like to ask questions after being asked another question.

Well, VI practitioners here agree that I'm an ILE, this test said I'm pretty much my MBTI type -- a close tie between ILI and LII. I'll have to take the test again to post my results, as I closed the window before I thought to paste them here. I shall do that another time.

I tend to like socionic measurement better than the MBTI. Socionics is more related to Jung's theories. The MBTI, especially with their Step III, which is reported to treat J and P as separate functions, is further shitting all over Jung's ideas.

Check the directory. There should be a "results.txt" file there.

Maybe Jung deserved to have some of his ideas shitted over. ;)

A lot of INFPs test as ENFp in socionics for some reason. And INTPs as ENTp etc. Or INFj/INTj. There's no smooth conversion between MBTI and socionics for introverts.

My results:

EIE: 16,35 (ENFj)
IEI: 15,74 (INFp)
IEE: 15,05 (ENFp)
EII: 13,75
SEE: 13,44

LSE 9,85
ESI: 9,50
ILI: 9,25
SLI: 8,15
SLE: 7,40
LSI: 6,60

The results are similar to the other test I have made. I usually have IEE or EIE as my type.

etc.

q10: human beings have subjective feelings. this question asks if you are certain of your feelings on things, or if your feelings are somewhat dependant of the external world.

q20: you're unsure or not of what would probably happen on mid-term or long-term. i.e. can't foresee it.

q42, q43: these questions test if you're an Interrogative type or a Declarative type. I added it as experimental, as an attempt to add extra accuracy.

Asking and declaring - Wikisocion
Reinin Dichtomies (NOT machine translated!) - The16types.info

q 42: You tend to repeat questions you were previously asked.

example :
- "Can you make my bed, please ?"
- "Can I make your bed ? Yes."

q 43: You like to ask questions after being asked another question.

example :
- "Why do you often have conflicts with your colleagues ?"
- "Are you married ?"

Socionics is more related to Jung's theories.

I'd say it's the other way around. MBTT is the one that is more adherent to Jung's theories. Augusta took the ideas from Jung but she almost completely rewrote them. For example, she though that extroversion did not manifest itself in the same manner for each of the functions Jung described, that is, the extroversion described in say Te is not the same one as described in Se so she made it "be consistent".

q42, q43: these questions test if you're an Interrogative type or a Declarative type. I added it as experimental, as an attempt to add extra accuracy.

I think they do the opposite and just mess with the accuracy. For example I'm almost 100% certain in being a declarer.
