I get mostly Stephen King and James Joyce (lolwut) from this (and sadly, also some Dan Brown. DIE DIE DIE. :irked: :ranting:).

Other discoveries from feeding various tarot ramblings through the machine: say "wands" a lot and you'll get JK Rowling.

Also, if you take every use of the word "symbol" or "symbolism" out of your writing, you go from Dan Brown to Arthur C. Clarke.

On a third attempt, I got William Gibson.

On a fourth, David Foster Wallace.

I must be some kind of literary genius (partial Dan Brown element aside)!

I need to start writing some motherfuckin books!

Ray Bradbury. But then I tried another bit of text and scored as J D Salinger. Then James Joyce. So it seems that the variations in words/sentences fool the analyzer since the work comes from one person, which is a reason to remain skeptical of the light sciences, just like MBTI really. Maybe the writers just write like one another. Don't know.

I have to call BS on this. In several different tries, I got:

  • David Foster Wallace
  • Edgar Allen Poe
  • Margaret Atwood
  • H. P. Lovecraft

Some of them repeated more than not, but they're apparently too reliant upon specific word matches.
