That'd be about right.

For me Acts if Service mean nothing in terms of a relationship, although they can show someone's politeness and willingness to share responsibilities and say a bunch about their character, it has nothing to do with them showing me 'love'. It's more of a 'goodwill' kinda deal.

Words of Affirmation can be nice to hear at times... or they can be totally uncomfortable. I prefer actions to words anyway.

Receiving Gifts can be meaningless or highly valued. Stock standard chocolates and jewellery mean nothing to me, something that shows they have seen something, thought of me, and wanted to make me smile by getting it for me has value.

As Quality Time is my primary love language a 'gift' that involves a shared experience is about the best thing a partner could get me.

It's pretty accurate. I need my cuddles and my hand to be held. It just sucks that I'm not even ALLOWED to touch anyone that way :steam:

I do find it funny how no one has the language of gift receiving.
Both my dad and my 18 year old sister have that gift. Both are really good at getting gifts for people because that's how they want to be loved , so thats how they show love to others (it just seems obvious to them that others would enjoy gifts like they do).

My OTHER sister has the language of quality time, my mother has quality time, and my brother has acts of service (or as my mother calls it, Acts of slavery)
