here's another way of looking at it:
western society idolizes the traits associated with right brain (this test shuns left brainers as non-creative) far more than it does those with left brain traits, and people lie on tests like this so they can feel like they too are one of the gifted individuals.

it's a pretty sensible thing to want -- hey, when you can get away with the lie and don't want to work to change the truth, why admit that you're bound to a life of being second best?

even if humans aren't predominantly left brained, after reading threads like these and finding that most of the participants come up on the right (or balanced) you begin to develop a little suspicion.

While the left/right percentages sound good, I disagree with a lot of the other ones. Symbolism, intuition, and non-verbal thinking are some of my strongest areas, not my weakest.
