This one seems pretty good.

Interesting one. I got this:

Jeff's scores on the main set of questions:

Extraversion (E): 10 52 : (I) Introversion
Sensing (S): 74 34 : (N) iNtuition
Thinking (T): 8 86 : (F) Feeling
Judging (J): 0 82 : (P) Perceiving

You scored as an ISFP.

Assuming that you are an ISFP,
Your DOMINANT function is Introverted Feeling.
Your AUXILIARY function is Extraverted Sensing.
Your TERTIARY function is Introverted Intuition.
Your INFERIOR function is Extraverted Thinking.

Please bear in mind that the supplementary questions are experimental and may be highly unreliable. If these scores conflict with your previous scores, it is probably because the questions are still not reliable enough.

Jeff's scores on the supplementary questions:

Extraverted Thinking / Introverted Feeling : 31
Extraverted Feeling / Introverted Thinking : 18

Extraverted Intuition / Introverted Sensing : 22
Extraverted Sensing / Introverted Intuition : 21

Rationality (Dominant Judging Function) : 23
A-rationality (Dominant Perceiving Function) : 21

According to the supplementary scores, Jeff could be an ESTJ or an INFP. These are opposite types, because the supplementary questions measure for preferences that opposite types share in common. See the FAQ for an explanation.

These results conflict with the evaluation of Jeff as an ISFP.

I don't know if it is actually the most accurate, but it seems a lot more thorough and easy to understand than most other tests I've took. These were my results :

Code:
Extraversion (E): 34 22 :(I) Introversion
Sensing (S): 6 78 :(N) iNtuition
Thinking (T): 29 44 :(F) Feeling
Judging (J): 5 58 :(P) Perceiving

You scored as an ENFP.

Assuming that you are an ENFP,
Your DOMINANT function is Extraverted Intuition.
Your AUXILIARY function is Introverted Feeling.
Your TERTIARY function is Extraverted Thinking.
Your INFERIOR function is Introverted Sensing.

I'm afraid I don't really understand the second part of the results :

Please bear in mind that the supplementary questions are experimental and may be highly unreliable. If these scores conflict with your previous scores, it is probably because the questions are still not reliable enough.

's scores on the supplementary questions:

Code:
Extraverted Thinking / Introverted Feeling : 30
Extraverted Feeling / Introverted Thinking : 33

Extraverted Intuition / Introverted Sensing : 32
Extraverted Sensing / Introverted Intuition : 5

Rationality (Dominant Judging Function) : 33
A-rationality (Dominant Perceiving Function) : 19

According to the supplementary scores, could be an ESFJ or an INTP. These are opposite types, because the supplementary questions measure for preferences that opposite types share in common. See the FAQ for an explanation.

These results conflict with the evaluation of as an ENFP.

Why are Te Fi (and the others) grouped, and why do they have the same score?

I think the second part deals with cognitive functions' strengths, whereas the first just deals with the four dichotomies.

As to why the function groupings are as they are.. in the four-function model, ISTJs and ENFPs for example, both use Te and Fi, but to varying degrees. Measuring the preference for both of these versus other pairs can hint at one's type.

Hmm, I got INTP on this one. Every function test has given me INTP, but that's the first time I've gotten it on an MBTI like test. I highly doubt I'm an INTP though.

Durpelton's scores on the main set of questions:

Extraversion (E): 20 32 :(I) Introversion
Sensing (S): 5 104 :(N) iNtuition
Thinking (T): 54 32 :(F) Feeling
Judging (J): 4 84 :(P) Perceiving

You scored as an INTP.

Assuming that you are an INTP,
Your DOMINANT function is Introverted Thinking.
Your AUXILIARY function is Extraverted Intuition.
Your TERTIARY function is Introverted Sensing.
Your INFERIOR function is Extraverted Feeling.

Please bear in mind that the supplementary questions are experimental and may be highly unreliable. If these scores conflict with your previous scores, it is probably because the questions are still not reliable enough.

Durpelton's scores on the supplementary questions:

Extraverted Thinking / Introverted Feeling : 21

Extraverted Intuition / Introverted Sensing : 33
Extraverted Sensing / Introverted Intuition : 24

Rationality (Dominant Judging Function) : 25
A-rationality (Dominant Perceiving Function) : 35

According to the supplementary scores, Durpelton could be an ENTP or an ISFJ.

Most MBTI tests have exactly the same questions reworded differently, so it wouldn't really matter if you decide to take the standard version. Just google mbti test. I however prefer more complex tests.

Wow, that's a long test.

Long test? It's just over 100 questions. The professionally administered MBTI test has 93 forced choice questions.

That makes me wonder how many people on here typed themselves from the 20 question Facebook or Myspace type tests or even the various 40 question tests floating around on the web. Some people do the humanmetrics one, at least it has 72 questions.

100 questions is long, I expect 40 to be the average lol.

There needs to be sixteen questions...

Each gives a 2000 word profile and asks you how much you relate to it, then you have to put them order. Here's where it gets tricky... the highest rated relation is actually your MBTI type.

Someone just told me about the ISTJ/INFP similarity because of the usage of the same 4 functions. I think every other type just as long as you keep the I/E, but switch the other dichotomies is the same way?

I . . . don't think so. Especially not on the second one. There's no way I'm an ENFJ, much less an ISTP. At least it didn't tell me I'm an ESTJ like the other linked-function test I took.

It's very consistent with other tests I have taken. The numbers are right on. I always score very high on introversion, 100% intuition, very slight feeling over thinking, and high on perceiving.
The rating of strength of preference is annoying & time consuming though....but I suppose it has a purpose

Scores on the main set of questions:

Extraversion (E): 4 - 24 : (I) Introversion
Sensing (S): 0 - 53 : (N) iNtuition
Thinking (T): 23 - 24 : (F) Feeling
Judging (J): 5 - 21 : (P) Perceiving
