What is Your Karmic Lesson

Desire Karma
Your desire karma needs balancing. In past lives, or maybe earlier in this one, you've been told that it was wrong to ask for what you wanted and make your desires known. You're always hesitating about voicing your thoughts and end up in situations that you don't like or want because you didn't speak out. No matter how hard you try, you just don't seem to think that your opinions matter.
Wear orange, because orange is rejuvenating and will help you to develop a positive mindset.
Learn to forgive what's gone wrong in the past.
Make the most of yourself, every day. You've got just as much right to your feelings and opinions as everyone else, so make sure that you get the right kind of attention from the right kind of people.
Find a way to express your creativity-dance, music, poetry, painting, whatever.
Do some light exercise outdoors, get the fresh air into your system. This not only rejuvenates the body but refreshes the spirit.
If you can incorporate any or all of these into your lifestyle, your desire karma will start to come back into balance, and you'll see things gradually improve. Watch for a sense of vulnerability, of emotional turmoil, a lack of focus on what you want from life, and feeling that you're thoughts and opinions just aren't significant. That's nonsense; you've got just as much right to feel the way you do as anyone else does. You have to believe in yourself before others believe in you!

Victimization Karma

Your victim karma needs balancing. In past lives, or maybe earlier in this one, you've been singled out and picked on, so much so that you feel this way even when it may not be the case! You're reluctant to make friends or get involved with activities, because you fear that people will talk about you or bully you. No matter how hard you try, you just seem to attract people of dubious integrity.

-Wear yellow, because yellow will help you find your inner strength.
-Rehearse what you have to say when you know you're going to be in challenging situations or with demanding people.

-Write about the times when you feel you were wronged, and rewrite the ending so that it empowers you.
-Seek out and keep the company of people who are supportive and encouraging.
-Don't hesitate to seek the assistance of a professional if you find that you're struggling with your sense of self-worth.
-If you can incorporate any or all of these into your lifestyle, your victimization karma will soon be balanced and you'll see things start to improve. Watch for anxiety, codependency, and bitterness, and if you find yourself in situations where you're being disrespected, withdraw as soon as possible. You have as much right to be treated with fairness and dignity as anyone else. When you've learned to love and accept yourself, others will too!

Communication Karma
Your communication karma needs balancing. In past lives, or maybe in this one, you've either said the wrong thing at the wrong time, not heard what others are saying, put too much emphasis on words and not enough on actions, and been hurt by what people have told you - or maybe what they didn't say. No matter how hard you tried, you often felt that you were speaking a foreign language!
Wear blue, because blue is the colour that helps you to both speak and hear the truth.
Keep a journal, and write out your thoughts to get them clear before you have to share them with others.
Research and practice body language, so that you can see when others are open and when they're trying to hide something.
Find other ways of self-expression apart from talking, like painting or music.
Speak up when you feel something is wrong, and listen to the concerns of others.
If you can incorporate any or all of these into your daily practice, your communication karma will soon balance, and you'll see things start to improve. Keep a close eye on passive-aggressive behaviour, interrupting or disregarding others when they speak, being fearful to say what's on your mind, and manipulating behaviour or conversation, for these are all signs that your communication karma needs help. Words are only a part of the way that you communicate with others, so make sure that you're saying what you really mean!
