Yup. And myself, because I am based in Fi which is the ambiguity function, using the questioning function Ne. Although it isn't really hard as much as I get confused every so often.

When stereotypes come in i guess, such as;
Female = F
Male = T

smart - N
fun loving - S

I think there are more mistyped intuitives than there are sensors. So I think the hardest type to "diagnose" ;) are sensors who match the stereotypes of the N types.

INTP/ ISTJ. I get them confused constantly for some reason, my uncle for instance, fits the profile of both of them perfectly at the same time always, as do some others I know to lesser extremes.

Si-doms are the easiest.
As a 18-year-old, most people I'm friends with are Se-doms/aux. It's very easy to find them.
Also, I instantly feel a "connection" when I meet iNtuitive types, most likely when they're Ni-doms/aux.
I guess the worst to type are ENxPs. Firstly because they sometimes come off as Sensors, from my experience, and sometimes, as Introverts. It's tough.
When typing my ENTP boyfriend, I first thought he was an ISTP, then an INTP and now we finally settled for ENTP.

I sometimes struggle with Fi and Si. xSFJs are near impossible for me.

I'm surprised by how many struggle with ENxPs. Considering my own typing journey, I really shouldn't be.

If they're a type 9, it can be hard sometimes to distinguish between INFP and ISFJ. INFP 4s are pretty clear cut, but 9 can throw a wrench in things.

ESFJ and ENFP is a pretty big mix-up too. Spongebob is a big example. IRL I think ESFJs can be averse to their own type if they initially test as ENFP, because of limited online descriptions. Also they might be focusing too much on how they appear to others (ESFJ 2s can easily present as stereotypical ENFPs, especially nowadays when being quirky and free-flowing is socially desirable) while not focusing enough on why their mind leads them to that kind of behavior in the first place. I think ENFPs (especially 7s) will entertain any possibility though. I typed as ESFJ 7w6 for like a day or two.

Mentioning Starry here just because she also brings up the ESFJ/ENFP phenomenon a lot too. :D

I heard it is ENxP...is this true in your experience?

The hardest types to diagnose, as a rule, would be those far removed from your own experience.

I am sure an ENxP would be quite adept at picking up another ENxP.

Hybrid types. Their functions are all over the place. I am sure Loki is one of them because it's really hard for me to type him.

I can spot an ENFP a mile off. By far the easiest for me to type.
ISTP/ISFP is pretty tricky. Especially less social ones, you have so little to work with re their inner world.

Me as intp ... intp are really easy to find , nobody else can try to find the meaning of this world as them.
