I tend to fluctuate between being very lethargic and bouncing with energy, with very little in between. I read somewhere that this is related to being an N type, whereas S types supposedly have quite consistent energy levels. I also noticed that my ENxP friends appear to experience the exact same thing as me. So whaddaya reckon? is it function-related or not?

(Also I'm very hyperactive rn and I have to chill out and go to work soon LOL)

I blame my fluctuating energy levels on a secret sauce blend of ADHD and a caffeine addiction. Aside from physical energy levels fluctuating, I'm very familiar with fluctuating mental energy levels. I don't know how to pace myself and jog, I only know how to sprint and stop. :(

If we are to correlate this to MBTI, it would be the perceiving type. Inconsistent pace.

But really, I think it more has to do with anxiety and boredom than MBTI/JCF.

Exactly this!

I know what you're talking about, but I don't know whether it would be N, P, or what. Sometimes it's boredom, but then sometimes it's just a sense of being in the right place at the right time vs. feeling somehow unprepared or not 100% mentally in the game, for whatever reason.

I don't know if it's type-related, but it describes me pretty well. My ISFJ friend doesn't seem to be like this, but I could see some of this in my SFP friend (she tested ISFP but I think ESFP seems more plausible). My INFJ friend seems pretty even-keeled though.
