My little sister is INTP and failed everything. She's not stupid, just lazy.

May or may not be INTP (possibly ISTP). Unweighted high school GPA was something like 3.4 iirc. It would have been lower if teachers didn't give me so many chances to make up the homework I had been previously too lazy to do.

I was valedictorian of my high school class, without investing much time into it. But my INTP kid floated through with C's.

It seems to be a matter more of motivation, and "Why bother with it?" rather than ability. He could have had A's but he just didn't care really. I guess I didn't super-care much either, to be honest, aside from just doing the work as quickly as I could and then moving on to other stuff.
