I've often wondered if NTJ 1s were mistyped STJs.

1 can be any J. But most like to be 1 is ISTJ ISFJ ENTJ ENFJ.
dom Si function is most correlate with 1 but not aux Si.
It has nothing to do with Fi but with ter Se and dom Si.
