ENFP personality is Ne (observation) ->Fi (internal feeling)->Te(external thinking)->Si (internal sensing).

If you want to understand how an ENFP could go wrong, then you have to take into account some of the common trends:

1) All ENFPs can be diagnosed with ADHD.
2) Personality disorders can also be diagnosed because of their apparent bipolar behaviors.
3) ENFPs are reasonable people. If they don't see the point in doing something, or if it doesn't fit their interests then they won't do it.

**The DSM of Mental Disorders is only relative to American and some European countries. Other cultures may be diagnosed as a person with disorders that are only part of their cultural norms.**

Now, given the information above we can see how a lot of things could already be considered wrong.

ENFPs have two main goals:

A. Inspire and be inspired
B. Protect my value system

First function [Ne] ENF(p):

The good news is that they are adaptable with most misconceptions. Once a situation is explained, they are resilient enough to forgive and forget.

The bad news is that because the they are perceiving over judging, they can be wrong in their understanding often (because of personal bias). Their faulty beliefs could lead to fatal relationship destruction.

Second function [Fi] (e)N(f)P

The good news is that ENFPs are people-persons. They like people because validation from others makes them feel good inside. People often like them because they have a way of making everyone around them feel special and wanted. ENFPs truly view others as valuable and important to their growth. Their personality's first main goal is to inspire and be inspired.

The bad news is that having such strong internal feeling makes them easily offended, angry, and overly excited. They tend to let their feelings bottle up and explode after prolonged unresolved issues. This is because they value mercy over justice. They avoid opportunities to resolve personal offences right away because they don't want to lose their privilege to inspire the person. Because of their first function, they wait to see if the person will repeat the same mistake a few times more, and if they do then the ENFP with blow up in their face with the pent up emotions. Being Fi second also allows them to be stressed out and angry for long periods of time, or at least until something circumstantial changes their mood.

Third function [Te] (e)(n)(f)P

The good news is that ENFPs don't usually leave you wondering what's on their mind. They tend to process most of their revelations out loud to friends and family, or in writing. They use their Ne to make connections between old and new information in correlation to their values. In doing so, they can speak theories into existence and have a chance to inspire the listener at the same time.

The bad news is that not everyone will agree with the ENFP's old and/or new revelations. The ENFP personality hates to be disagreed with. They feel attacked and misunderstood, quickly becoming defensive. They don't take criticism well and also don't know how to let it go without a fight. This is because ENFPs spend their entire lives seeking truth and authenticity. They don't just accept everything thrown at them; they weigh out what fits the previous ideas they have found to be true. If someone challenges their beliefs, the ENFP interprets it as though the person is calling them a liar. It is their secondary mission to protect the integrity of their values, so they bring all their defenses when they feel threatened.

Forth function [Si] E(n)(f)P

The good news is that Si is a really good trait for a person to master. Si helps people learn from their mistakes by mentally recording the experience. Because the Si comes after Fi for the ENFP, they can review the feelings attached to the experience, sometimes with just as much fondness or agony.

The bad news is that Si is their last function. Immature, underdeveloped or dysfunctional ENFPs with struggle to remember the reason behind why a method works or doesn't work. This leaves them repeating the same habits and failing because of it.

To recapture and summaries, here's some main points.

(1) ENFPs already have natural behaviors that are psychologically labeled disorders in American culture.
(2)They strive to fulfill their main goals of inspiration and protection of their personal integrity.
(3) Misunderstandings happen very often.
(4) Their feelings have to be channeled in healthier ways or it will be bad for everyone involved.
(5) Criticism does not blow over well with this personality. They believe they are worth their weight in the values they trust. When people denounce the ENFPs beliefs they are denouncing the ENFP's worth. They may even go as far as to use their intuition against the person in opposition, if the topic is important enough to them.
(6) As the person grows and matures they get better at learning from their mistakes. It takes time is all.

In conclusion: History has pointed to the main cause of dysfunctional ENFPs committing evil acts and crimes against humanity (genocide, mass extermination..). It was because they believed more strongly in their overall mission rather than the actions being favorable or not to those affected.

Other injustices, such as cheating, lying, or manipulating, come from a dysfunctional ENFP using their Ne and Fi for selfish desires or hunger for power. Ne and Ni dominate personalities have a craving for control, leadership, status, recognition and power anyway. They are all very intentional people. So it is up to the individual to decide if they want to belong to the good side or bad side of that coin. Either way the ENFP knows exactly what they are doing.
