I started off considering some 'INFJ with NiTiFeSe' type. I learned about Jungian stuff in detail, then, and since have come to mostly use my own thoughts.
Considered being a T-dominant, decided I'm definitely not, at least not by what I think the best interpretation is.
Now I'm a firm N-dominant, and strongly lean NTFS, so one of the ILX types (I just use my own ideas jumping off from Jung but adding ideas from all sorts of places).
I would never have considered a Te type in the early run, but that's because the interps of e/i are unfortunate. I'm likely dcnh H.

Anyway, enneagram-wise I started as a 5 based on the test, probably considered tritypes like 54X (X could be any of the 1, 9, 8), eventually learned more/that test scratches surface, and now I'm mainly between 6w7 and 7w6, and sometimes 1w9.


I don't see myself as ever mistyping, in the sense of mischaracterizing me, only deepening my knowledge of the system/how to frame myself in its terms.

People used to make me think I was a different type because of all of the misinformation surrounding MBTI. Then I switched to Socionics after reading Psychological Types by Jung and to me, Socionics is more accurate than MBTi. So, I no longer depend on anyone to evaluate me but me though I am open to hearing others' opinions, just in case.

How much influence do other people have on what types you consider for yourself? Do your friends and family see you differently than forum members (for instance, family and friends seeing INFP and ENFP, forum members seeing INFP and ISFJ)?

My family probably does see me differently, but honestly I'm a lot more introverted around them than I am when I'm alone -- that's probably a weird thing to say. I can feel stifled by a lot of people. I'm still not even really sure if I know myself. Actually, I most definitely don't.

A good amount. I'm super indecisive about my type so I'll take what I can get. Technically my friends are forum members(I haven't met anyone at school into typology) and I don't think they see me much differently. If my family were into typology I think they'd type me as INTP, INFP, ISFP, or even ISTP. I think I come off as more of a T type to my family because I'm not that mushy and suppress my feelings a lot. I can see them going with an S type cause I've been described as down to earth and they'd go by my cooking and drawing I think. I think they'd agree with 9w1 though cause they keep telling me to be more assertive(and less lazy UwU).

Originally tested as: I identified as 4w5 originally and relate a lot to aspects of it. I think I have some 4 influence somewhere, but it's an unlikely core. Someone suggested 5 for me, and then I identified for that for a long time and was in denial of my 9. I've tested as 5w6 on several tests. I still relate a lot to 5 but going with higher ti, 9 is the superior option. Either way, 9 influences the way I interact with people. I waffle between a 4 and 2 but am currently on 2.
