im struggling to understand ni(introverted intuition)i think ni takes many different ideas and brings it into one idea while ne takes one idea and from there generates many different ideas?

Ni is about avoiding any real stable, conceptual inner footing - this is why it's so hard to grasp, because by its nature it seeks to avoid being grasped. It's about looking for a new way of "looking", one that feels wholly new and liberating, but is ultimately subjective.

Another way to understand it is realizing that Ni is the opposite of Se (objective sensation) which is based purely in the present moment and tangible reality. It is the same with Ne/Si.
