Please don't make fun of me if my poem is really bad. What type does my writing sound like?
I know not who I am
I know not what I'll be
There's a smile on my face
But mystery lies beneath
There's a storm in my path
A weight upon my soul
With this glimmer in my eyes
I'd never let it show
I do a lot of bad
But stand for a lot of good
But the real me
I have never understood
My heart, my mind, my soul
Are looking to connect
But the wire's not there
When I lie lifeless on my bed
Sunk so deep in
Almost like I'll never get up
Dead inside from love, guilt, & over indulgence
Been running too long
From the thoughts inside my head
But I tell this little girl
She is everything to everybody
& This little girl is me
For the one thing I know about myself
Is I am forever young at heart
I know not who I am
I know not what I'll be
There's a smile on my face
But mystery lies beneath
There's a storm in my path
A weight upon my soul
With this glimmer in my eyes
I'd never let it show
I do a lot of bad
But stand for a lot of good
But the real me
I have never understood
My heart, my mind, my soul
Are looking to connect
But the wire's not there
When I lie lifeless on my bed
Sunk so deep in
Almost like I'll never get up
Dead inside from love, guilt, & over indulgence
Been running too long
From the thoughts inside my head
But I tell this little girl
She is everything to everybody
& This little girl is me
For the one thing I know about myself
Is I am forever young at heart
