How do you feel about The Dude as a character? Do you generally approve of him? Or do you generally disapprove? Are you a Fe user or a Fi user?

It's been a while since I saw that movie, but I gotta say I love The Dude, both as a dude and a character. (Fi)

Fi-ers have reported in. What prompted me on posting this was watching a review of The Big Lebowski done by an INTP critic. He loves the movie, likes The Dude as a character, but only grudgingly and uncomfortably grants The Dude's lifestyle winning status. It has always been clear to me that The Dude is a role model to all mankind, and it shocked me to hear somebody thought otherwise. I suspect this comes down to Fi vs Fe.
