ISFJ 9w1 So/Sp seems like the most harmless combination out there, but if there is truly variation within a type, it would be very possible for this combination to produce a super villain.

What are your thoughts?

Perhaps...
Just an idea that seemed fun...

Super villain like...comic book villain?

Of the top of my head: an unassuming person on he outside who is actually a drug lord/head of a crime family

Very good, he seems to fit except for that one letter...
I guess that the dissonance between 9w1 and evil was in my head, after all...

I would say that it is possible and that the 9 makes it more likely rather than less.

I would see them as part of a group - a loyalist who co-operates with others. If you saw such a supervillain then it would be likely they are a partner with a third party who they enjoy a warm, healthy romantic/platonic relationship with. The 9 combined with Fe would (in my understanding) numb any emotions and views which would be in opposition with group ethics or interpersonal dynamics and thus maintaining loyalty.

Though often typed as an INFP I have seen Haku from the Naruto series occasionally typed as an ISFJ. Haku is in an antagonistic role due to his strong affiliation with Zabuza - a mercenary who took the orphaned former in due to being potentially of use for his goals. Haku has no antagonistic or nefarious designs of his own but he would do anything for Zabuza as he cares deeply for him (as well as wanting to make Zabuza happy by being useful.) Thus his compliance makes him a villain by extension. Despite the differing opinion on type he could be a good template for an ISFJ (super) villain.

It would be interesting to see whether their interaction with their opponent(s) and their associated ethics would cause a conflict for the ISFJ or whether a strong bond with "their team" would cause a suppression of these conflicting values and the original loyalty is maintained. I too would welcome clarity from any ISFJ 9 or 9's in general.

A 9?

I'm thinking the "I'm doing this for the good of mankind" but is objectively looney to most types type villain.

Only he/she is very close to being sympathized with. Maybe polarizes the media.

Very interesting...

I wonder if there is any type that could be immune to evil...
If ISFJ 9w1 So/Sp isn't, I doubt it...

Yeah, it'd probably be in the context of person who has sort of become the puppet leader of a group.

Probably less sinful than some but no one escapes.

I guess it could happen. It would be a pretty boring villain though.

Hi :) I just wanted to put in my personal experience
I'm an 18 year old isfj 9w1 so/sp and you're right-I'm pretty harmless. If you tick me off though I will react and you will know (as long as I'm comfortable enough with you) so it could be possible but very hard to be a villian

1) Some superhero who can shoot rainbows out of his ass, naturally. Think more in the direction of mypony or something anime like. Everything is possible in anime.

2) Somebody who is a catalyst for a natural principle that resembles Si, such as the mutants in heroes. That girl who breaks her bones, except they will grow again.

3) Somebody like the russian fitness idol, body rocker Zuzaka Light. She is like an idol of Si self control and has somebody behind her, who sort of pimps her. (Like the mutant girl has her father)

4) Does a porn star count as superhero? I think I know at least one ISFJ ...

honestly i think ISFJ (SiFe) are 1w9 ...
in my understanding true nine is reserved for adaptive types (P),
people forget that the theme of the one is a theme of melting with a fictitious/absent authority of theoretically-physical significance. It's like physical obedience to a necessity, perhaps intruding through Ne.
people always think that every sense of "melting" must be nine. but the nine melts on the outside only. inside the principle is more like dissociation, partiality, fragmentation.
the one is invisibly melted on the inside. the one can seem distinct on the outside, but doesn't have to. it's irrelevant.
one is in denial about being one and thinks they are nine. nine is in denial about nine and thinks they are five or four.
