It is everybodys task to bridge the gap he has with everyone.

Most introverts think about entps that they have it easy, cause they are extrovert and social since birth. But that the entps primary function is insanity followed by a secondary function which is introverted analysis of primary insanity, what makes you the leat likely to go weirdo - somehow nobody knows that.

I can just smile about people who say they have a problem with being social, little do they know.

Everyone is an individual first and foremost, who's duty IMO is to himself and his loved ones. Strangers come last. In your case it may not be this way, but in mine it is. I'm not saying that I have a problem being social, more like I have a problem caring about strangers, which I associate with being social last(I could be wrong about the correlation though).

I don't care about strangers, you may and that's perfectly fine but the fact that I don't just indicates that I simply do not place much value on them.

I can't speak for other INXJs, but I know that if someone finds me boring, it's more likely than not because I find them boring. I'm not going to bother cranking up the enthusiasm around someone who can't reciprocate.

In response to the topic, there aren't any MBTI types that stand out to me as being generally unpleasant. In the context of a relationship, though, I think that INTP would be one of my worst matches. I recently had an INTP tell me that he doesn't know what flirting is and wouldn't be able to spot it if he saw it (what the heck?). INTPs also tend to be extremely phlegmatic (unemotional and inactive), and that is pretty much the opposite of what I need in a romance. I do like the fact, though, that INTPs usually are intellectual and creative--those are traits I look for in a romantic partner.

INFJs have Ne in their "opposing personality" slot - perhaps Ne has to do with wittiness, brainstormning and an ability to come up with hilarious spontaneous intelligent jokes. I find this very often in my INTP and ENTP colleagues and although being quite slow myself I really appreciate their company and also believe that they like to have someone around that just can't stop laughing at their endless trail of jokes.

Ni is kind of a cleaning, concluding and "killing" function while Ne is more of making a mess of everything.
They work in different directions, so no wonder that Ni-doms won't appreciate excessive Ne - there is too much to sort out and clean up. Overload.

Edit: And probably also the other way around: That INFJs might want to kill the conversation, come to consensus, ease the tension, which works in opposite direction to the life-giving, blossoming nature of Ne.

I'm not really sure as I haven't had many girlfriends yet, but the two I have gone out with were ENFJ and ESFP I am guessing.

I am potentially open to any personality type, it doesn't really play on my mind much. However, any girl needs to be able to have some understanding of how I think and be able to communicate with me on an intellectual level to some extent. She also needs to be patient and encouraging, as I'm very, very shy around girls and won't open up until I feel comfortable. Some other, more specialised things, are common ancestry and cultural interests. I am only interested in girls of northern European ancestry, like myself, and they need to be cultured. This is where the deal breakers come in...I have very specific musical interests and want to be with someone who shares them, which people might be able to guess from my avatar. The moment a girl puts on rap, hip hop or other such hideous noise, she's gone.

I don't know whether girls with certain personality types would be more likely to meet these standards than others, maybe IxxJ types but the above is what I'm looking for, anyway....

INFJ - I believe my childhood best-friend was an unhealthy INFJ. Manipulative and paranoid. Use their access to emotions for evil. Sweetly caring but frightening. Protective in the sense that they don't believe you are capable of anything.

ISTP - I get along with ISTP exceptionally well because of our spontaneity and childlike wonder. We relate and appreciate one another based on that, but depart in morals and convictions (they have very few). Not sustainable long-term. They're completely unreliable and see promises as maybes.

ESTJ - I've always had a thing for villains so love ESTJ. Secretly saints because they genuinely try to be good. Aren't hypocrites and are always reliable. Total spazzes and therefore fun to mess with. Fun to hug and kiss... like a grumpy cat. They find me super annoying but I'm persistent and bring them gifts, suck up, ask for their advice and pretend to listen. They can be lots of fun when they're at their best.

ESFP: I am so drawn to this type. Looking back on those I've had relationships with seem to have been ESxP's of some sort. But trying to crack them open was the hardest thing. Of course knowing what I know now, there doesn't seem much to crack open. I think I like them in part because they're fun and carefree and I seem to draw off of that and feel like I can be myself. I don't even mind not having deep crazy conversations as long as we're both enjoying ourselves.

INTJ: I just don't think I could do it. I was raised by INTJ parents and I think that's why I'm a bit of a calmer more Te focused ENFP, but I just don't think it would work. I've been around introverts most of my life and I need some E time.

ISTJ: For the most part, the ones I've met are super awesome and I can cut up with. I even get an occasional want to slap me across the face but it's lighthearted. I've only had them as friends so I don't know how a romantic relationship would go, but again I'd prefer an E.

INTP: It would be too weird. They would remind me too much of my brother.:ack!:

ExTJ: Just no. Although an S type I get along with friend wise. There might be some value in that type.

ISFP: Good friends but we tend to just take jabs at each other. That's fun only to a point so being in a relationship with one wouldn't go very far.

I can't say I've had much interaction with other types. I mean I'm sure I have, but just didn't know their type. I'm still new to the game.

I don't have a least favorite. However, I think ESTJ and ENTJ's are the most attractive to me.

Honestly I have always had a ruge amount of respect for ENTJs and ESTJs. They just give off some sort of aura of power and I just always found that really alluring.

ESFJs have always sort have I don't know... Intimidated me? At least the ones I know in real life just seem so... Heavy.

ISFPs are objectively the worst. This is not an "anima rejection thing" this is just facts. INFPs? Fuckin turds of lugubrious delight. ISFPs? It should be illegal (or at least highly frowned upon) for an adult person to sleep with one as they have all the emotional and intellectual sophistication of an overindulged 4 yr year old. I would not be shocked to find out that most of them did not have object permanence, much less grasp its utility if it were explained to them in slow, over-enunciated english with detailed diagrams that employed popular Disney characters. ESFPs? Wonderful and generally cool as fans. ISFPs? If there was a KKK for people who were anti-ISFP, I would join it, because that's how much I can't stand ISFPs.

All the rest of you are alright. Especially because there are ISFPs in the world to make you looks so much better in comparison.

I've been romantically involved with only 2 people in my lifetime, one ESFP and one IXFP, both female. Had good chemistry with both. Also had a strictly sexual relationship with a male ENTJ, also great chemistry. Other than that, I find myself attracted to ISTP females and INXJs (authentic ones, there are a lot of fakers out there) of both genders.

The types I'd be least likely to fall for would include ENFP, EXFJ, INTP, and ISFJ.

Worst: ENTPs. For the crime of creating the genophage, they can never be forgiven.

Best: ISFPs. For making Wind Up Rex mad.

If someone had told me a few years ago that I'd be close to an ENTJ today, I'd question their sanity and come back with a few rather colorful words about said ENTJ. But life surprises me.

What I respect about them most is that they will say something when they disagree or I'm doing something that bothers them. This won my trust from a practically sub-zero starting point. I try to make clear to people that they can come to me with things, because if I don't, too often they assume that they can't because I appear too sensitive or something.

In truth, though, I'm best at dealing with problems while they're happening. Types who don't or who hold back due to a fear of conflict are not a good match for me. Their intention not to hurt me is good, but if anything can hurt me, it's letting grievances build up for eons until they inevitably discharge volcanically all at once. The criticism is the least of what's bad about that - it's having been led to believe things were going well that weren't, and finding out how long I've been having this affect on the other person that I really didn't want to have, but wasn't aware of. Please don't lead me on this way; I don't do that to others.

ESTJs, they're too loud and uptight based on my experience. I just can't stand them, sorry.

I'm just going off of fiction here. I've met too many people of varying types -- some of which "should" have been my favorite or least favorite based on fictional archetypes -- to be able to simplify it this much in realtime. Really, I just found out yet another one of my favorites is an ISTP and I wanted to fangirl this way. xD

Despite them having completely opposite functions, my favorite types are usually ISTPs and ENFPs.

Least favorites are probably ENTJs and ESTJs.

And I'm aware that my 'favorites' have nothing to do with how good or bad a type actually is. I only know which characters I'd be most likely to want to be friends with if I saw them, and I've noticed a pattern.

I don't generally type people using MBTI anymore but...

ISFP - absolutely not. Reckless, immature, expects others to clean up their messes and the self esteem that needs constant petting and stroking. No no no.
ENTJ/ESTJ - Go measure their dicks elsewhere, hopefully they will get some court ordered help, especially the 8's. There are some exceptions to this one, yes, but those are people that have the self-awareness to grow and improve. Many do not.

The rest are ok.
