The Dominant Function: In-Depth Analysis

That's kind of wierd how someone can be a perceiver yet if their dominant function is a judgment function they can still make too many judgments without gathering enough information. I wonder how these 2 paradoxial sides can coexist together in someone's personality.

Huh? The point of judging functions is that only judgers can have them as their dominant or auxiliary; same with perceivers and perceiving functions. You don't really understand much do you?

Perceiver and Judger as far as the J/P dichotomy simply means extraverted Perception or Judgment, which is only equal to the dominant function for extraverts, of course.
Being a dominant introverted judger, and thus P by virtue of auxiliary extraverted Perception, I do tend to hesitate making judgments until I have enough information ("P" trait), but I guess once I'm locked into a judgment (which is internally based), then I suffer the thing of not wanting to take in anymore information.

No because a type like ISTP is Ti dominant and that is a perceiving type but Ti or thinking is a method of judgment whereas a type like INTJ is Ni dominant and that is a judging type but Ni or intuition is a method of perception. So what you said does not make sense unless you mean only judging types extravert their dominant or auxilary judgment function whereas for perceiving types the judgments are internal.

Oh my bad, I assumed that Juice was talking about J functions (Te, Fw, Si, Ni) vs P functions (Ti, Fi, Se, Ne). I fucking hate MBTI terminology. Go ahead.
