Of their respective domains, essentially, Se is as objective a function as Te, Fi as subjective as Ni.

I understand the intent of general categorisation with these keywords, but with the given functions, they no longer seem to hold the meaning.

Unless there are additional reasons for why they exist?

Se is irrational because the objects impose a viewpoint on the subject. Fi is rational because the values/morality/etc of the subject impose on the object. It has an internal order before it approaches the world. Se is more subject to change.. hence "irrational". There isn't a very definitive worldview to the one who strongly prefers it.

Hmm.. it's been a while since I've read jung, but would this be correct?

Fe/Te - Object impose judgement on subject

Fi/Ti - Subject impose judgement on object

Ni/Si - Subject impose viewpoint on object

Ne/Se - Object impose viewpoint on subject
