I don't know whether this belongs in fluff or not, as it is about mbti, but might seem a little superficial.

What I want to know is how people would describe how they feel about each of their functions in one word, from the point of view of the ego, or possibly just from the dominant function.

Here's mine:

Ti - Invincible
Ne - Fun
Si - Negligent
Fe - Ignored
Te - Pedantic
Ni - Distrustful
Se - Embarrasing
Fi - Traitorous

Since this might not generate quite enough discussion to sustain a thread, I will finish on a song. Well - a parody of Julie Andrews' Do, a deer.

Ti, a c*nt, a brooding c*nt,
Ne, to gauchely navigate.
Si, just check I've got my keys,
Fe, a deep deep place of hate.

Te, don't mean to be a prick,
Ni, I think I'm going to die,
Se, this function makes me sick,
But Fi can't vie for....

Ti, the c*nt, the brooding c*nt,

Everybody!

Ne, to gauchely navigate.
Si, just check I've got my keys,
Fe, a deep deep place of hate.

Te, don't mean to be a prick,
Ni, I think I'm going to die,
Se, this function makes me sick,
But Fi can't vie for....

Ti, Ne, Si, Fe, Te, Ni, Se, Fi...
...Seeeee - Fi!

I notice the biggest difference between your Extraverted Intuition and your Introverted Intuition is the pink hair. Do you often put on a wig when taking in external inuitive information? It must be a detrimental tell when playing poker.

My topic, I'll do what the hell I like.

Now everybody strip!!!

On a more intelligible note, thinking about it from a Parliament of Attitudes point of view can people name fictional characters who best represent the personality of each of the vying functions in their psyche.

This doesn't mean thinking of characters based on their actual types, just the rudimentary personality you associate with each of your functions. Perhaps keeping in mind with John Beebe's archetypes.

Ti: Edmund Blackadder, series three
Ne: George Costanza
Si: Rainman
Fe: Marge Simpson - I really hate her
Te: Zap Brannigan (Futurama)
Ni: Lucille Bluth (Arrested Development)
Se: Vyvyan The Bastard (The Young Ones)
Fi: Iago - from Othello, not the parrot from Aladdin

anii,

"Birth. School. Work. Death."

If death is the end, it seems the two steps in the middle can be skipped.
